Too many lords, not enough stewards

Agreed. It's been interesting watching Jake and others become better and better writers and journalists over their time here. Reporting a talk (or a panel discussion, to name another recent article) without it turning into a boring morass of "he said, she said" is very difficult, even moreso when the subject is controversial. This could be a textbook example of how to do it right.
