Moby is no synonym when it comes to comfort and elegance. Adding to this latest list of his elegant properties is the Hollywood Hill Home that Moby has bought. The castle was originally built in 1920 and Moby has reportedly spent $2 million on the renovation of this property.

Location: Located in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles the property is a virtual treat for the eyes and Moby has taken extreme care in maintaining the pristine elegance of the property.

Accommodation: Hollywood Hill Home is located in an area of 3 acres and offers elegant views of the surroundings. It includes 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, dining room and a kitchen. Hollywood reservoir and the famed Hollywood sign are located in the vicinity of the property and on clear days one can have unhindered view of the Pacific Ocean.

The property is spread in an area of 2298 square feet and is unique in the sense that it has foot paneled ceiling coupled with a gourmet eat in kitchen. The geometric shaped pool gives an elegant look to the castle and Moby has reflected his taste for elegance and comfort with his choice of home.

Features: The mirrored ceiling and the Art Deco chandelier is an additional add on and the castle offers impeccable views of the lush green surroundings. Moby has turned garages within the property into a recording studio and kick boxing room. The wood beamed ceilings have been renovated and maintained as per its original design.

Neighborhood: Not much is known about the neighbors of Moby and owing to location of the castle it seems that Moby prefers solitude rather than living within the crowded city of Los Angeles.

Moby, aka Richard Melville Hall, has been actively associated with Artists for Peace and Justice for quite sometime now. On 13th January, 2011 Moby and Partner attended the BVLGARI fundraising event to support Artists for Peace and Justice in their noble cause towards humanity. The event was held in a private residence at Beverly Hills, California.A philanthropic initiative taken by Paul Haggis and friends resulted in the formation of Artists for Peace and Justice in the year 2009. The organization aims at encouraging universal peace and social justice, along with confronting issues like poverty, education, health facilities in different parts of the world. They have also worked towards emancipating the incarcerated communities all around the globe. Recently they have devoted themselves to the amelioration of the poorest areas in Haiti by providing education facilities, pure drinking water, meals and regular medical treatments to the children residing in the slums.

America's largest civil rights organization, the Human Rights Campaign was founded in the year 1980. Since its inception, it has been fighting to achieve equal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans and presently it has earned a massive support of more than one million members, donators and supporters nationwide. It has also been instrumental in other works like making investments to elect fair-minded individuals to offices, mobilize actions at grass-root levels in various communities and provide education to people about lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender problems. Many committees are working unitedly to make Human Rights Campaign's vision a reality. Human Rights Campaign has been receiving an unwavering support from Moby. He made an active participation in Human Rights Campaign's New Yorkers for marriage equality project. He featured in a video in support of the freedom to marry and was able to convince many of his admirers to support him for the cause.

Wayne Elsey must have been touched by such a pathetic sight and thus he led to the foundation of Soules4souls in the year 2005. The organization collects shoes from the warehouses of foot-wear companies and distributes them to the needy, over-looking the person's religion, caste, creed or any other criteria. They have distributed more than 17 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes to the people of approximately 127 countries, which includes Kenya, Thailand, Nepal and the United States to name a few. In order to carryout relief efforts, they have stretched their helping hands to the victims of Asian tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and Rita by donating more than 1 million pair of shoes. 

Many fundraising events have been organized to help Soles4souls and many singers and artists performed in those events. However, Moby's name shines the most among all the singers. He has been providing constant support to propagate the objective of Soles4souls and make it gather more support from people, all over the globe. 

A coalition of more than 1400 local and national groups throughout United States led to the formation of the charity United for Peace and Justice, in order to bring an end to the ruthless Iraq War. They have stood against their government's jingoistic policies and have taken the pledge to alter them. The barbarous killings in Iraq by American soldiers sent a wave of mercy throughout the world, but it appeared extremely gruesome to the people of America and thus gave way to the establishment of United for Peace and Justice in Washington, DC on October 25th, 2002. Presently, United for Peace and Justice acts as a mesh of hundreds of peace and justice organizations around United States and the World. They have uniformly devoted themselves to end war and oppressions, cater to human needs by providing adequate resources and protecting the environment by sustainable means.

There have been a severe uproar, regarding the Iraq war, by various artists and musicians and among them Moby is significant. He has been a staunch criticizer of the Iraq War and have performed in various events, which were held as a gesture of opposition. He also expressed his condemnation by performing in an event held at St. Ann's Warehouse, which was a fundraising event for Iraq Veterans Against the War and United for Peace and Justice. 

Flawless Foundation started with the migration of the the Francolini / Lee family to Portland, Oregon from New York City , where they confronted vast differences in availing resources for education and health-care facilities in the two cities. On gathering more information about the care and education for children with special needs they wanted to take an initiative for improving them and thus the Flawless Foundation came into existence. According to a survey performed, more than 12 million children are mentally challenged in the United States. It has been an indefatigable effort by the Flawless Foundation to help those children, with behavioral challenges, by providing good quality education and compassionate care. They always view perfection in every child and bring them back to Earth, to themselves with love and affection. 

The Flawless Foundation enjoys an unwavering solidarity from Moby, who have said “I am a huge supporter of Flawless! Their cause is remarkable. Please give generously to their holiday campaign!”. Moby has featured in a video convincing people to join the Flawless Foundation and donate munificently to make them remain flawless in their cause for humanity.
