Bachelor of science in physics from the University of Denver, 1967. Master of science in physics and Ph.D. in physics from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, 1969 and 1971 respectively. Worked for Caltech from 1975 to 1977 and then for Hughes Aircraft. Returned to Hughes Aircraft.
