24 Stunden Rennen auf dem Circuit Park Zandvoort
Es wird 2013 vom 25. – 26. Mai stattfinden.
Aber, pass auf: Diesmal kein Rennen mit Rennwagen, wie die meisten Menschen denken, aber auf dem Rad.
Die Herausforderung für eine Mannschaft ist um innerhalb 24 Stunden die Höchstzahl Meter zurück zu legen. Die Absicht ist, dass die Teamkollegen abwechseln.Für Teilnahme sind keine sportlichen Höchstleistungen gefordert. Die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern müssen sich lediglich zum Wettbewerb anmelden.
Einst ist sicher: 24 Stunden als Team gemeinsam zu arbeiten ist an sich schon ein Riesenerlebnis
Circuit Park Zandvoort hat seine Wurzeln im Motorsport, sondern wird auch von Läufer und Radsportler mehr und mehr geschätzt. Wenn man nach Zandvoort reist, könnte man auch sagen, man fährt in den Urlaub. Denn der niederländische Badeort an der Nordsee ist ein beliebtes Ferienziel. Die FahrStrecke liegt direkt am Wasser, eingebettet in die Dünenlandschaft der Küste. Ein Kurzurlaub bietet sich für Fans geradezu an. Der Monat Mai als offizieller „Fahrrad-Monat“ hält für Zweiradfans vom 25. – 26. Mai zahlreiche Highlights bereit. Es gibt Radtouren für Familien, ATB Kliniken, Dicke Reifen Rennen für die Jugend , ein Seifenkistenrennen und Unterhaltung mit Demos und Musik. Es wird auch möglich sein E-bikes und Montainbikes zu testen. Am Samstag und Sonntag gibt es auch noch einen Spinning Marathon.
Cycling Zandvoort ist nicht auf Gewinne ausgerichtet; der Erlös soll der Stiftung SAM zugutekommen. SAM ermöglicht Delfintherapie für Kinder mit Down-Syndrom und Kinder mit Autismus-Spektrum-Störungen.
Fahrrad-Liebhaber im weitesten Sinne des Wortes besuchen am 25. und 26. Mai ‘Cycling Zandvoort’, oder beteiligen sich sogar am 24-Stunden-Rennen, Sie können in Mannschaften mit 4 oder 8 Personen antreten oder gar als Solist.
Der Teilnehmerbeitrag für das 24-Stunden-Rennen besteht aus €24. pro Person.
Für die teilnehmendeTeams ist während das Wochenende Platz für “Biwak” auf Paddock Speicher.

Cycling Zandvoort (English version): 24 hour race
The sporting highlight of the weekend.
And also, the game where heroism and drama alternate, triumph and defeat stand side by side. Imagine riding for 24 hours as fast as possible on a bike on the 4.3 km circuit of Zandvoort! During the day throughout the the night; in dry and wet weather and strong winds. It has a certain romance. But also a degree of hard work. Each round takes the utmost concentration to defeat the 13 corners. Each round standing on the pedals to master the 15 m high ‘Hunserug’ and the ascending track between the’ Slotemaker Bend’ and ‘Scheivlak’. Each round to take into account every technique and dividing your forces. To speak with ’24h Le Mans’ winner Jan Lammers: “A 24 hour race you can not win alone, but lose as an individual.”
To give everyone equal opportunities only recreational cyclists are allowed. One can register as a team of at least 3 and maximum of 8 riders. Part of the fee is for SAM Foundation, a charity that looks to help children with Down syndrom.
The competition categories are:
• Supersport: soloists (road bike required)
• Sports: up to 4 participants (road bike required)
• Tour: max 8 participants,
• Women’s Team: 3 to 8 cycle parameters,
• Business Team: 3 to 8 cyclists (m / f)
Note: Participants may be sponsored by companies of their own choosing. This competition is all about endurance, perseverance and team performance. And of course in 24 hours as a team to complete as many laps of the track as possible. The teams decide their strategy and allow unlimited riders exchange. As with car races strategy is the determining factor: What do the lap times look like? Who makes the fastest change? Who has the best technique? Who suffers the least breakdowns? Engineers, team managers and caregivers populate the pits for much needed technical and tactical support, care of the drivers and catering.
Besides fighting against the competition, the weather and track conditions, it is also fighting against sleep, digging deep for perseverance and endurance. A real team effort and thus very suitable to participate as a teambuilding event.
Starting on Saturday, May 25th at 15:00, finishing 24 hours later at 15:00 on Sunday, May 26, 2013.
The participation fee is 24 euros including VAT per person. Business Team costs 150 euros plus VAT per person or 1,200 euros plus VAT for a full group.
In the pit lane, the teams are assigned a pit box, which may need to be shared with another team depending on the number of participants. Besides these personal place there will be plenty of benches / tables are where you can eat together and catering can be provided.
