The North West Cambridge Development includes 3,000 homes, of which about 1,100 will be available in the first phase.

All homes will be built to the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5. The North West Cambridge Development will have approximately two-thirds of all the homes ever built at this level.

Housing Types

There are two types of housing available on the site

  1. Key worker housing for qualifying University and College staff available at discounted rent
  2. Market housing that will be for sale by private developers

There will also be accommodation for post-graduate students.  The outline planning consent allows for 2,000 bedspaces and the first phase includes 325 rooms.
