The Canteen at the Cavendish
The Cavendish Canteen or Common Room can be found in the Bragg building of the Cavendish Laboratory. The main entrance is opposite reception.
Common Room Regular Opening Hours
The Canteen is open throughout most of the office day for Teas, Coffees and sundry associated produce.

Please note that at busy times of the year, food may run out earlier than 14:00 at lunch.
The Menu
The Cavendish Canteen has a wide ranging menu that is updated on a weekly basis.
The Salad Bar also has a large range of freshly produced foods available each day.

The common room prices are reviewed yearly and are subject to change.
Ordering Meeting & Event Buffets
If you wish the Canteen to supply food & drink for an event, please contact us well in advance for advice and booking.
Our standard meeting supplies consist of any of the following items:
- Tea, coffee, water, biscuits, sandwich lunch & finger buffets.
For fork buffets or any other special requests please speak to us directly.
Request forms are below, please complete and return to the Common Room in good time. During busy periods short notice request may not be possible.
