Summer Closure

Linkline is now closed for summer, and will reopen in October.  If you’re seeking support in the meantime, you may like to contact the Samaritians, who also offer a phone and email service.  You can call them on, 08457 90 90 90 or email at: [email protected].

If you are interested in volunteering with us next year, applications will also open in October – check back for further details.

In the meantime, we hope you all have a restful summer!

Replies to Emails

We have received notification that replies to emails sent to the [email protected] may not be getting through to those who emailed us. We are very sorry if anyone has sent us an email and has not received a reply.

Our technical support team is looking into this matter. In the mean time, we ask that you also check your spam folders to make sure that the reply has not been sent there.

Our email service is still open at the moment. However, if you would like to get in touch with us in other ways our phone lines are open 7pm-7am every night of the Cambridge University term. You can call us at 01223 0744444.

Thank you for your help and understanding as we work to get to the bottom of this!

Best wishes,

Linkline

Email service now working!

We are pleased to say that our email service is now back up and running. This means you can email us anonymously about anything that is on your mind and we’ll send you a reply within 48 hours.  Please remember that although our software anonymises your email, it won’t take away any automatic signatures at the bottom of your email.

To get in touch, you can reach us at [email protected]. We’ll listen, not lecture.

Applications to Linkline are open!

What we do:

We provide a non-judgemental, non-directive, confidential and anonymous listening service every night of CU full term 7pm-7am.

What you can do:

Volunteers are trained in active listening and then take shifts about once a fortnight, answering calls and emails from people in need.

How you can join:

To apply, simply go to keepcalmandtalkaboutit.com and fill out our application form. You will then be able to choose an interview slot. Volunteers will then undergo an extensive training course and we have a strong network to make sure our volunteers are well supported.
