What’s On

The What’s On website lists hundreds of talks, workshops and performances that are open to the public at the University.

Open Cambridge weekend

The annual Open Cambridge weekend offers a wide range of walks, talks, tours, exhibitions, and special activities, celebrating local history, architecture, art and gardens. The next Open Cambridge will take place from 11  to 13 September 2015.

Bridge the Gap charity walk

In conjunction with Open Cambridge, the annual Bridge the Gap walk gives local residents the opportunity to walk through the scenic grounds of Cambridge Colleges while raising funds for local charities. The next Bridge the Gap will take place Sunday 13 September 2015.

Cambridge Festival of Ideas

The Festival of Ideas takes place every October and celebrates the arts, humanities and social sciences through hundreds of talks and hands-on activities for all ages. The next Festival of Ideas will take place from 19 October to 1 November 2015.

Cambridge Science Festival

The next Festival takes place from 7 to 20 March 2016, and is expected to feature over 250 events for all ages exploring subjects from astronomy to zoology, with demonstrations, hands-on experiments and talks from leading scientists.
