Graduate Students in the Department study for one of the following qualifications:
- Master of Advanced Studies (MASt in Physics), 9 Months
- MPhil in Physics (by research), 1 year
- MPhil in Scientific Computing (taught/research), 1 year
- PhD in Physics (by research), 3+ years
- Nano Science & Technology Doctoral Training Centre (taught/research), 4 years
- PhD in Computational Methods for Materials Science - 4 year
Interviews for 2015 entry:
2nd - 6th February 2015 : High Energy Physics Interviews
7th & 21st February 2014: Theory of Condensed Matter Interviews
If you decide to make an application you are advised to do so as early as possible. This will increase your chances not only of acceptance but also of being considered for funding. Candidates for Research Council Studentships should aim to apply before Christmas. Overseas candidates should consult the prospectus for funding deadlines.
