The University’s Institute of Continuing Education (ICE) was created over 140 years ago to offer lifelong learning opportunities - by extending the University’s academic resources, research and knowledge - to adults in the wider community.   Today ICE has headquarters at 16th-century Madingley Hall, just outside Cambridge, and runs a wide variety of short courses and part-time programmes, including part-time University qualifications.

Every July and August, the International Programmes team at ICE organises a variety of interdisciplinary and specialist Summer Schools, taught by Cambridge and subject-specialist lecturers. You can stay in one of the Colleges or be non-residential.

With several thousand students enrolling each year, ICE is a part of the University that can benefit you throughout your adult life. It also offers a growing number of online courses, meaning you can study at Cambridge wherever you are in the world.

An alternative model of learning is Executive Education at the Cambridge Judge Business School, which designs and delivers high impact leadership and management development programmes to professionals and organisations from around the world.  Programmes run all year round and range from intensive two-day programmes as well as longer two or three-week flagship residential programmes and many other formats and lengths designed according to the needs of different organisations.  

Programmes are taught by top Cambridge Judge Business School faculty but also bring in experts and teachers from other faculties from across the wider University of Cambridge.
