2013 Cavendish Alumni Festival Open Day
The 2013 Cavendish Alumni Festival Open Day will be held on Friday 27th September 2013 from 2pm until 5.30pm.
The programme for the event is as follows:-
At 2pm there will be a Lecture in the Pippard Lecture Theatre by Professor Malcolm Longair entitled "A New History of the Cavendish Laboratory - What Really Happened".
The Lecture will be followed by "Physics at Work", an exhibition presented by those at the cutting-edge of research and development showcasing the many uses of physics in everyday life,
along with applications of physics in research and industry.
Refreshments will be available between 3pm and 4pm.
