Horizon Nuclear Power was formed in January 2009 with the aim of developing new nuclear power station capacity to help meet the UK’s need for stable and sustainable low carbon energy.

On Friday 23 November 2012 Horizon welcomed the completion of the company’s sale to Hitachi.

More information about Horizon’s approach to developing its sites at Wylfa and Oldbury will follow in early 2013 following its transition to new working arrangements.
