Video Competition: Winner Announced!

filed under:

Moby has personally chosen the winning video to be used for his new single 'Wait For Me'. The winning video is by Nimrod Shapira from Israel!

Congratulations to Nimrod for a fantastic entry and he will now receive US$5,000 cash and have his video serviced to media worldwide in support of Wait For Me's single release.

Some feedback from Moby on why he chose this as the winning video: "It was incredibly hard picking a winner in this competition, as there were dozens and dozens of great videos to choose from. I chose this winning video based on it's creativity, production value, concept, and humor. Thanks to everyone who entered, and i'm truly sorry that there couldn't be more than one winner, as they were all really good"

Moby also commented on the fantastic response overall: "I was hoping to have 30 or 40 submissions, but we received around 500, and honestly 95% of them are pretty amazing. Thank you so much to everyone who entered the competition!"

The two runners up, who will each receive US$1,000 cash, are Maik Hempel and Martin Winther
