An application may crash when you try to open the View GC Heap window in the Remote Performance Monitor on a device that is running the .NET Compact Framework 3.5

You run the Remote Performance Monitor tool on a device that has the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 3.5 installed. When you try to open the View GC Heap window, an unhandled exception of the System.ArgumentException type may occur in the Mscorlib.dll assembly. Additionally, the application crashes.

This problem occurs because of a problem in the .NET Compact Framework 3.5 common language runtime (CLR).

Hotfix information
