AGE RESTRICTIONS
What age do I have to be to attend OXEGEN?
OXEGEN is strictly 17s and over only – ID required and will be checked rigorously before entry.
Under 17s will only be admitted if accompanied by guardian/relative 25 years or over who will sign for and accept responsibility for said person. Policy will be strictly enforced – persons who purchase and ignore conditions will be refused entry with NO refund.
What if I turn 17 the day after OXEGEN?
Unfortunately – rules are rules and if you are under 17 on arriving at OXEGEN you will not be allowed on site without a guardian/relative 25 years or over who will sign for and accept responsibility for you. If you are under 17 please do not turn up to the festival without a guardian as policy will be strictly enforced and persons who purchase tickets and ignore conditions will be refused entry with NO refund. If you are 17 or over please make sure you bring ID.
How do I prove my age at OXEGEN?
When entering the festival you will need to prove your age so please bring a passport, photo driving license, Garda ID or official school or college ID with a colour photo copy of your passport. School or college ID must be official on a credit card format, not on a laminated piece of card.
I am accompanying someone under 17, do I have to stay with them the entire time?
Any adults accompanying an under 17 year old will be asked to sign an agreement to be responsible for them for the duration of the festival. You will be responsible for their wellbeing and safety so you will need to be with them for the vast majority of the time to guarantee this.
Is there a limit to the number of under 17 year olds I can be responsible for?
Adults can accompany a maximum of four under 17 year olds at the festival, any more under 17 year olds and there will need to be more adults.
I have a child under 5, can I bring them to OXEGEN?
There are no facilities on site for children under 5 and the promoter recommends that the festival is not a suitable environment for a child. Everyone attending the festival needs a ticket for entry so if you bring a child, make sure you have a ticket for them.
CAMPERVAN AREA
I am bringing a Campervan, where can I park it for the weekend?
The campervan area is separate from the main campsites but still within easy walking distance. The campervan are has toilets and drinking water taps. There will be no electricity provided in this area.
Where can I get a Campervan ticket?
Campervan tickets will be available from Ticketmaster.
Up to four people are permitted per campervan, unless it is a six berth van, and every person must be in possession of a weekend with camping ticket. You must bring your own campervan and only purpose built campervans allowed.
Please Note: Festival goers who wish to purchase these tickets MUST ALSO have purchased a weekend camping ticket (red or blue) for each person in your vehicle.
Can I park my transit van/four wheel drive in the Campervan area?
Even if a campervan ticket has been purchased, transit vans and four wheel drives with seats down, etc will not be permitted in the campervan area. Your vehicle must have living accommodation with fitted sleeping facilities and either fitted cooking or washing facilities.
Can I bring a tent or gazebo to this area?
Tents or gazebos are not permitted in the campervan area due to fire safety. Caravan awnings are permitted.
Can I park my Caravan in the Campervan area?
As long as your caravan is fully equipped with living accommodation (fitted sleeping facilities) and either fitted cooking or washing facilities.
CARS AND CAR PARKS
What happens if I bring my car to OXEGEN?
FREE car parking passes are available with every four weekend camping tickets purchased. FREE Passes can be obtained by presenting four weekend camping passes at any Ticketmaster outlet. If you don’t want to carpool you can purchase a weekend parking pass in advance either online or at a Ticketmaster outlet for €30, while stocks last.
N.B. Car passes are valid for one single entry.
(Re-entry is not guaranteed and may cost you €15)
CAMPING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE CAR PARK.
Who can park in the car parks?
Cars, motorbikes and vans are permitted in the car parks, with vans being parked in a special area. Campervans, caravans and tent trailers are only permitted in the campervan park. All vehicles are subject to being searched by security.
I have bought a red campsite ticket/blue campsite ticket, where do I park?
If you have a red car park ticket you need to park in the red car park. If you have a blue car park ticket you need to park in the blue car park. However, you can camp in whichever campsite you choose. Take a note of where you park!! Zones and rows in the Blue Car Park are numbered. Text your zone and row number to yourself!
Do the car parks close?
Car parks will be open 24 hours from 10am on Thursday and close at 6pm on Monday.
Can I camp next to my car?
Anyone found camping in the car park will be asked to remove their tent, for safety reasons it is not permitted to camp in the car park.

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR TICKETS?
This ticket is issued on behalf of the organisation responsible for the performance or event shown on the face including the promoter and venue and is subject to the terms and conditions indicated on this ticket or displayed on the premises. Purchasers should note that this ticket is sold by an agent for the organisation responsible for the event, and details of the organiser/promoter are available on request from authorised ticketing agents. Purchase and possession of this signifies agreement to the following conditions:
- This ticket is issued subject to the rules and regulations of the site owners, operators and management.
- It is a licensing condition that every person entering the event site must have a valid ticket.
- Ticket holders are required to carefully check their tickets in advance of their visit; mistakes may not be rectified on the day.
- The event promoter reserves the right to refuse entry of the ticket holder to the event site. Customers found to be causing damage to the site, the site infrastructure, causing harm to any other person on site or in breach of these conditions will be subject to prosecution.
- The event promoter reserves the right to search all persons and personal property and refuse admission to, or eject from, the site any person who refuses to be searched by a security official.
- This ticket is not transferable. No money will be refunded or tickets exchanged after purchase unless the event is cancelled. In the event of cancellation, the promoter’s sole obligation and liability shall be to offer a ticket for an alternative performance by the relevant artist, if available, or a full refund of the face value of this ticket. No other claims will be entertained.
- No duplicate tickets or wristbands will be issued in the event of loss.
- No pass-outs will be issued. Holders of camping tickets must exchange them for a wristband, which will allow the wearer to leave and re-enter the festival site.
- No tickets may be used for competitions, promotions or hospitality packages without the written consent of the event promoter. Any ticket re-sold or transferred in such a manner will become voidable and the holder may be refused admission or ejected from the site.
- Admission to the site and performance is at the ticket holder’s own risk. Neither the promoter nor the site management shall be held liable for any injury or damage sustained within the site.
- Camping is only permitted within the designated areas. Camping tickets must be bought in advance. Camping tickets are only valid when combined with a festival ticket.
- Ticket holders give their express consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising or exploitation of any film, video and/or audio recording of this event and/or any element thereof in any/all media throughout the world. This includes filming by the police or security which may be carried out for the security of customers.
- The event promoter reserves the right to make any change whatsoever to the act programme owing to any unforeseen or unavoidable cause.
- Neither the venue nor the promoter can accept responsibility for lost or stolen property.
- Children under 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 25.
- This festival takes place outdoors. Customers are advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear and protection against potential inclement weather.
- Strobe lighting may be used during the festival.
- With the exception of dogs assisting the visually impaired, no animals are permitted onto the site.
- Only buy official merchandise from identified vendors within the event site. For further help on the day, please refer to the on-site information desk.
- No trading without the prior consent of the promoters.
- No illegal substances may be brought in to the festival site – any found will lead to prosecution.
- WARNING – Prolonged exposure to loud noise may cause damage to your hearing.
- A wide selection of food & drink will be available to purchase on site.
- No glass bottles to be brought in to the festival site. Cans are only allowed on the campsites but not in the festival arena – any found will be confiscated.
- Disposable BBQ’s are allowed in the campsite only, however, the organiser reserves the right to confiscate any disposable BBQ’s used irresponsibly.
- Any item that is deemed unsuitable may be refused at our discretion. This includes fireworks, smoke canisters, offensive weapons or other similar articles and any person in possession of such articles may be refused entry or ejected.
- Any person found to be behaving in a manner deemed unsociable or potentially dangerous will be ejected from the festival site without refund.
- No open fires.
- No crowd surfing, no moshing.
- The possession of this ticket shall constitute an acceptance by the holder of these conditions and imply an undertaking on the part of the holder to observe them. In the event of any breach of these conditions, the event promoter reserves the right to cancel this ticket and retain any monies paid therefore.
- Other than the provisions advertised or outlined by the box office at the time of sale, customers are required to address any special needs by contacting the box office in advance of their visit, as the event promoter may not be able to provide those needs without notice.
FAMILIES
I am bringing children over the age of 5 but under 12, is there a separate are for us to stay?
There is a separate area aside from the main campsites for families with children under 12. This area has full access, nearby parking and a manager who will be able to answer questions and help, where possible. There will not be baby changing facilities as we do not advise bringing anyone under 5 to the festival.
Space is limited and you need a special pass so please book in advance by contacting us here.
Everyone needs to be in possession of a weekend with camping ticket and you will then be given a wristband for this area when you arrive, subject to prior booking for space in this area.
Please note children must also have a full camping ticket.
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CASE OF EMERGENCIES?
In an emergency please contact the nearest member of security or steward for help.
There is an onsite fire fighting team who are fully equipped to deal with any fires. There are fire observation towers located around the campsites. There are fire extinguishers located throughout the site and many of the stewards and security staff have been trained in fire safety in addition to the onsite fire fighting team.
There are medics onsite who are fully equipped to deal with all situations.
The medics also have roving patrols and provide an Accident and Emergency facility with full resuscitation, GP facilities, surgeries and psychiatric treatment.
FOOD & DRINKS
What can I eat at OXEGEN?
OXEGEN is renowned for the range and quality of food on offer. We have something for everyone, from Chinese and Indian to Spanish and Italian. We also have Fair Trade, organic and gourmet choices from around the globe.
Not only that but we have the festival mandatory, the Gourmet Burger, plus crepes, waffles, noodles and paella. There will also be a variety of options for any vegetarians and vegans and many of the OXEGEN food outlets will stock wholesome organic and ethically sourced produce.
Will I be able to drink at the festival?
Please drink responsibly, you want to remember everything from ‘Europe’s Favourite Rock & Roll Weekend’ so pace yourself and have a great time.
When drinking at the festival please don’t drink and drive. There will be a large police presence at the festival so if you wish to drink please take the shuttle bus or camp over the weekend.
What type of alcohol will the bars at OXEGEN be serving?
OXEGEN bars will be serving beer and wine.
Can I bring alcohol to OXEGEN?
Alcohol is permitted in the campsite only. All liquids must be in plastic bottles or cans. No glass is allowed in the campsite but liquids can be transferred into plastic bottles at the bottle decanting stations at the entrance to the campsite.

How do I get a job working at OXEGEN?

What type of camera can I bring to OXEGEN?
Please note that if the camera has a detachable lens you will not be allowed to bring it in. Disposable or digital cameras are allowed.
Am I allowed to build a campfire?
No. There are NO campfires allowed at OXEGEN.

DISABLED & SPECIAL NEEDS
All disabled and special needs customers are welcome at OXEGEN. It’s important to remember though it is a green field site, subject to Irish weather and can be difficult to access. Stewards however, will be at hand to assist.
Facilities:
Wheelchair platforms will be at the Main Stage, Stage 2, Heineken Green Spheres and the New Band Stage. There will be a protected area in front of them for those who are not mobility impaired but feel vulnerable in large crowds. Disabled toilets will be available at every stage, as close to the wheelchair ramp as possible. Wheelchair platforms are for people in wheelchairs and one companion or people with restricted mobility.
The special needs campsite has nearby parking and a disabled toilet available. There is also a facility for charging wheelchairs and management personnel to answer questions and help out where possible. Please let us know if you need a space in this campsite by the 31st of May 2010.
Those not in a wheelchairs can still get free special needs parking if you book your space in advance and explain your reason for requesting it using the contact details below.

CAMPSITES
When does the campsite open?
The campsite will be open from 12 noon Thursday 8th July 2010 and closing on Monday 12th July at 6pm.
Car parks will be open from 10am on Thursday and close at 6pm on Monday.
(Between these times the campsite and car parks will be open 24 hours)
The Arena will be open from 1.30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Please pace yourself across the weekend and on Monday please take your time and care when leaving site – remember the campsite/car park is open until 6pm.
Please note all times are subject to license.
My ticket is for the red campsite/blue campsite but I do not want to camp here, can I camp in the other campsite?
Yes, you can camp wherever you wish. The red campsite is closer to the red car park and the blue campsite is closer to the blue car park but you are free to camp in whichever campsite you prefer, so long as your car is parked in the car park marked on your ticket. Except for Green – you need to purchase a boutique camping upgrade to camp here!
I have bought a three day camping ticket but now want to camp on Thursday too. Can I get a Thursday only ticket?
If you have purchased a three day camping ticket (Fri-Sun) but now wish to camp on Thursday as well then you can bring your three day ticket to any Ticketmaster outlet and purchase a Thursday camping pass for €20. You will be required to bring both tickets to the festival to gain entry on Thursday. You must have a 3 day camping pass to purchase a Thursday only ticket.
Can I bring alcohol to OXEGEN?
Alcohol is permitted in the campsite only. All liquids must be in plastic bottles or cans. No glass is allowed in the campsite but liquids can be transferred into plastic bottles at the bottle decanting stations at the entrance to the campsite.
How many people can stay in my tent?
There is no limit to the number of people who stay in your tent.
Can I bring a gazebo or marquee?
Gazebos and marquees are not permitted; all campers need to be able to have room to pitch their tents.
What happens if I do not know how to pitch a tent?
The green campsite has a range of alternative camping options for the weekend; further information on podpads will be available at www.podpads.com and you will also find further information on teepees and yurts at www.tangerinefields.co.uk.
Where can I get Pod Pad / Teepee / Green Campsite tickets?
You can find full information in our camping section HERE. Please Note: Festival goers who wish to purchase tickets for the luxury green campsite MUST ALSO have purchased a weekend camping ticket for the festival.
Are there washing facilities?
Campers can make use of the free hot showers which return for the 4th year at OXEGEN. All campsites have taps with running water.
How do I access the arena from the campsite and vice versa?
Upon arrival at the site you will be given a wristband which you must keep on for the entire weekend. We’re sorry but lost wristbands cannot be replaced and you will need to show this in order to move between the campsite and the arena throughout the weekend. Please also keep your ticket stub as this is also needed to permit access to the campsite and arena.

When will I get my tickets?

Can I pay more to upgrade to a backstage ticket?
It is not possible to buy backstage or VIP tickets; backstage is a busy working area of the site and is not an appropriate are for non working people.
I have bought a three day camping ticket but now wish to camp on Thursday as well. Can I get a Thursday only ticket?

TRAVEL
Where is OXEGEN?
OXEGEN takes place at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare.
How do I get there?
The best way to get to OXEGEN is by one of the many bus services available.
Dublin Bus
Dublin Bus will operate a shuttle service from Parnell Square West, Dublin 1 direct to the festival site. Tickets available from Dublin Bus, 59 Upper O’Connell Street, Dublin 1, by calling Dublin Bus on (01) 873 4222, or at www.ticketmaster.ie
Bus Eireann
Bus Eireann will be running express services from destinations around the country – so no matter where you are you should be able to make your way to OXEGEN 2010! Check www.buseireann.ie for details or phone +353 1836 6111.
What happens if I bring my car to OXEGEN?

What if I am flying in?
As OXEGEN is a key festival on the international music calendar there will be many people flying to Ireland for the festival. Upon arrival at Dublin airport you can either take Dublin Bus 747 or the Aircoach service to O’Connell Street where Parnell Square North is a short walk away to connect to the Dublin Bus Shuttle for Punchestown. Check www.dublinbus.ie for full details.
Is there a park and ride facility/drop off point?
There is one Park and Ride site for this year’s Oxegen at Goffs (OFF JUNCTION 8, N7) Please note that there are no drop off facilities at Punchestown for private cars so please use the Park and Ride facility where festival goers can use the free shuttle bus service.
