Now you can hear the latest from the Museum of Science’s Current Science & Technology Center on the go.

Welcome to podcasting, a new way to listen to radio-style audio. It combines the portability of a pocket radio with the freedom of unscheduled, on-demand internet audio. Think of it as TiVo for your ears.

With the right software, the audio you want arrives on your computer soon after it becomes available on the web. You don’t have to search for it and listen to it over your internet connection; instead, the software copies it to your hard drive where you can listen to it however and whenever you want. Since you have the whole podcast, you can copy it to your iPod or any other mp3 player and listen to it in your car or at the gym.

To subscribe, put the podcast address below into your podcasting client (such as Juice or iTunes). You will then receive weekly updates from the world of science and technology downloaded to your computer automatically. If you have never done this before, the simplest method is to make sure you have the latest version of iTunes and click here.

Podcast feed: Subscribe http://www.mos.org/doc/1727 (This will only work in podcast software.)

iTunes users can just click here to subscribe.
