About the LSE website

The LSE website has been designed to make finding information quick and easy. The structure allows you to browse by audience (see Information for), topic (see Information about) or department (see Departments). Under these headings, the pages that make up the LSE website are categorised, with each category (eg About LSE) presenting Highlights, Quick links, and an A to Z of relevant pages.

The LSE website is both a service in itself, and a gateway to other services at LSE. These include LSE for You, which provides personal access to personal data for members of the LSE community. For example, undergraduate students can select their courses for the year, staff can book rooms, and alumni can view the alumni email directory.

The LSE website's homepage (see Welcome to LSE) is aimed at all users, especially those external to LSE. However, if you're a frequent user and belong to one of the audiences listed, select the appropriate category under Information for (eg New and current students) and bookmark this in your web browser to improve use. This is especially important for students, staff and alumni.

The LSE website is constantly evolving and your feedback is valuable. Please let us know what you think by using the 'Comment on this page' facility in the footer of the page you wish to comment on.
