TinkerTendo is a warehouse converted to a creative maker space in San Francisco. It’s a launching point for expeditions and adventures, whether to national parks or Burning Man. Membership is currently by invitation only.
The name is inspired by the spirit of tinkering, and Tendo or 天道 in Japanese which can mean “way to heaven,” as in Nintendo. The “ten” is also the first part of the address on Tennessee Street.
