Your Gravatar custom domain isn’t just for sharing your profile – you can also use it as your Bluesky handle!
This means instead of the generic username.bsky.social, people can find you at a custom yourname.link or yourname.bio.

Step-by-Step Setup
We make it super easy to use your Gravatar custom domain as your Bluesky handle.
1. Get Your Free Gravatar Domain
Did you know? For a limited time, domains are free for the first year on Gravatar, including a dozen popular TLDs like .link, .bio, .social, and more.
If you haven’t already, claim your free domain through your Gravatar dashboard. Just log in to Gravatar.com and look for the domain claim option at the top of your profile (or just go here).
2. Verify Your Bluesky

1) Go to Verified Accounts > Bluesky in your Gravatar editor
2) Click the Connect Bluesky button
3) Sign in with your Bluesky details
4) Accept the permissions to grant Gravatar limited access
3. Change Your Bluesky Handle
1) Open Bluesky and go to Settings and then Account (or just go here)
2) Click on Handle
3) Click on I have my own domain
4) Enter your Gravatar custom domain in the top field (where it says alice.com)
5) Click on Verify DNS Record (you don’t need to make any DNS changes)
6) Click on Update to yourdomain.tld (the bottom blue button)
Now your Bluesky handle will update to use your Gravatar domain.
4. Reconnect Bluesky in Gravatar

Your Bluesky connection in Gravatar is using your original handle, so the last step is to reconnect.
Click on Sync with Bluesky under Verified Accounts > Bluesky in your Gravatar editor
That’s it!
Your Gravatar domain is your identity on the open web. Use it everywhere to build your presence and own your digital footprint.
