If you're a fan of round numbers and the Tampa Bay Lightning, this is the night for you.
Two of the greatest to ever do it for the Lightning, Nikita Kucherov and Victor Hedman, each put up a career milestone on the same night.
It started with Kucherov.
The Lightning and the Ducks were tied 1-1 in the second period on Saturday night. That's when Kucherov (and Brayden Point) assisted on a Jake Guentzel goal.
It marked 1,000 career points for Kucherov.
Then just two minutes and one second later, Hedman dished out an assist of his own as the Lightning went up 3-1.
It was the 800th career point for Hedman.
Kucherov has played his whole 12-year NHL career for the Lightning. He has compiled 359 goals and 641 assists, and counting.
Hedman is in his 17th NHL season as one of the league's best defenseman. He has 171 goals and 629 assists.
The two players who have never known another team are two of the best the Lightning have ever had, and this marked a really cool night for both of them.
