boygenius have been announced to be playing their first live show in a very long time indeed. The news comes as part of the recently announced Coachella lineup for 2023.
To refresh your memory, boygenius are a musical trio comprised of Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers. They released their self-titled EP in 2018, playing a limited tour the same year. Since then, all three artists have been keeping busy with their respective solo projects.
Aside from the Coachella annoucement, rumours had been swirling about their return since they were spotted together back in November.
As well as a suspected new boygenius record in 2023, it’s expected that Phoebe Bridgers will be dropping her own album at some point this year, as well as touring with Taylor Swift as support on a number of her The Eras Tour shows.
