How to Update WarnMe Contact Information

WarnMe is UCSF’s official emergency alert system. WarnMe is activated via text, email, and/or phone when there are impacts to operations or an immediate threat to safety or health affecting the campus community.  Please take a moment to review and confirm your contact information is accurate in the directory.

To ensure you receive WarnMe alerts, please: 
  • Add or update your contact numbers of choice to receive WarnMe alerts in the UCSF Directory
    • To receive WarnMe phone calls, be sure your work desk phone field is up to date.
    • To receive WarnMe text messages, ensure your work cell phone number is entered correctly.
  • Depending on the severity and nature of the emergency, alerts may be sent to one or more of your listed contact methods.
