Trap and reggaeton singer, rapper, and songwriter Kris R (Kristian Rangel Betancour) started writing songs and uploading them to social media when he was 15 years old, and by the late 2010s he was already landing collaborations with big-name artists such as Rauw Alejandro, Pablo Chill-E, and Ñengo Flow. Caras Vemos, his debut full-length, appeared in 2020. Kris R's popularity reached a peak around 2024 thanks to several collaborations with Colombian rapper Blessd on hits such as "Polos Opuestos Remix," "Las Piponas Remix," and "Ultra Complicado Remix" -- the latter also featured Kenny Die and Sebas. Una Valija en Sentimiento, his sophomore album, arrived in 2025.
