Sweet-voiced Nigerian Afro-dancehall singer Ruger emerged on 2021's "One Shirt," about making it in the Lagos underground scene without much of a wardrobe, and followed up with his timely Pandemic EP. In the artist's words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. From when I was very young I've always loved singing. I used to lead worship at home and in church as a child.
