This 1,500-seat auditorium is one of the largest theatres east of Montreal and hosts a number of music and theatre performances throughout the year, along with keynote speakers.
Each year, Convocation ceremonies are held here in May for graduating students.

The Mount Allison Gemini Observatory\u00a0(MAGO) is a dual-dome astronomical observatory housing two identical 11\" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes.
The Physics Department\u00a0uses the observatory extensively for hands-on astronomy classes. In addition, it is open to the public for special viewing nights and activities.
Some of the celestial objects viewed through our telescopes include planets and moons of our solar system, nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies.

Hammond House, also known as Black House, serves as the University President's official residence.\u00a0
It was originally built for noted Canadian artist John Hammond, the first head of the University\u2019s Fine Arts department and the first head of the Owens Art Gallery, the oldest university art gallery in Canada. Several murals painted by Hammond remain in the home.\u00a0
Acquired by the University in 1958 and served as the President\u2019s residence until 1975. Between 1975 and 2009 it was utilized for different purposes, including as an administrative building until 2009.\u00a0
A restoration project was undertaken in 2014-15, after which Hammond House became a registered National Historic Site for its Queen Anne Revival architectural style. It is one of only 63 such sites in New Brunswick and one of fewer than 1,000 in Canada.

Opened to the public in 1895, the\u00a0Owens Art Gallery\u00a0is the oldest university art gallery in Canada and is an invaluable resource to\u00a0students in museum and curatorial studies, art history, and fine arts.
The gallery\u2019s collection contains 3,200 works of art, including paintings, photographs, prints, sculptures, and multi-media work by established Canadian and international artists.\u00a0
Changing exhibitions highlight contemporary and historical art by regional, national, and international artists. The gallery also presents a variety of artists\u2019 talks, workshops, and special events throughout the year.
The Colville Gallery \u2014 an exhibition space devoted to the work of Alex Colville (1920-2013), one of Canada\u2019s most celebrated artists and one of Mount Allison\u2019s best known graduates.
The Art Conservation Lab \u2014 the only painting conservation lab in New Brunswick \u2014 is a significant resource within the Owens Art Gallery. It provides facilities and equipment for the documentation, preservation, and treatment of artwork from the Gallery\u2019s collection and offers mentoring opportunities for Mount Allison students who wish to work with the gallery\u2019s fine art conservator.

The cottage is the only wooden building that remains to mark the early days of Mount Allison.

Now we're on the south side of campus. There are five residences on this side. The first one on my left here is Bigelow house. It has four floors with 85 residents. Bigelow house is one of the most spirited residences on campus. They always have such great turnout and do so well at the house spirit events. They all share a really nice outdoor space here with their neighbors Bennett house. There are three different room types in Bigelow house and two different kinds of bathrooms. So the first type of bathroom is a shared ensuite washroom, which means you share a washroom with your neighbor. Nobody else uses it. It's just for the two of you. These washrooms are great, but you also have to remember that you're responsible for cleaning them and bringing all the supplies. The other kind of washroom is an all gender private community washroom. So there are a few of these on each floor. Again, even though they are shared, they're still very private. Everything is in one space, and you can lock the door and use it whenever you need. So the three different room types, there is a single shared ensuite, so you have your own single room, it's your own space, and then you're sharing your washroom with your neighbor like I mentioned, there are also the single rooms, again your own private space within your room, but then you would be using those all gender private community washrooms on your floor. Same goes for a double so you're sharing your room space with your roommate. And then you would also be using those all gender private washrooms. So side residences and have twin sized beds, and Bigelow you also have a desk, a chair, lots of storage space, a microwave mini fridge and if you have an ensuite room, you also have a TV. This is Bennett house on the south side of campus. It's one of our midsize residences with 102 residents living on four floors. It's house colors are blue and yellow and their mascot is a goat. In Bennett house, there are three different types of rooms. The first is a single shared ensuite room. So you have your own space within your single room and then you share a washroom with your neighbor. So what's really great about ensuite washrooms is you do have privacy and it is just shared with two people. But you do have to keep in mind that you are responsible for cleaning them and forgetting all of the supplies. There's also a regular single room so you have all the same things in your room. But you would use one of the all gender private community washrooms in the hallway on your floor. So there's a few of these washrooms on each floor. They have everything you need. They're also super private, you can just go in and lock the door. And what's great about them is that you don't have to clean them. You don't have to bring any of the supplies. It's all done for you. We also have double rooms so you would have a roommate. Again, all the stuff you need in your room is there you have a twin bed, a desk and a chair, lots of storage, a microwave and a mini fridge and then you and your roommate would also use those shared agender private community washrooms on your floor. And if you do have an ensuite room, then you will also have a TV

This is Campbell Hall. This is on the north side of campus and it's the largest residence. It has four floors and 200 residents living in here. My personal favorite, but I can say that because I lived here for two years. The house colors are green and yellow and their mascot is a gecko. Every room in Campbell Hall has a twin XL bed, a desk and a desk chair, a wardrobe, extra storage, a microwave and mini fridge and a TV. There are three different room types in this residence and all of them have ensuite style washrooms. So ensuite washrooms are very private, and they're only shared between you and your neighbor or your roommate. So typically, there's only three, two or three students sharing these washrooms. The thing is, you do have to clean them yourselves because they are your own private washrooms. The three room types are a single shared ensuite. So that means that you're in your own room by yourself, but you would share your bathroom with either one or two other people next door. We also have double shared on suites. So doubles are really great. Having a roommate in your first year is a really great way to meet people. Two of my closest friends were roommates in Campbell Hall in their first year and now they're like inseparable and best friends. I always thought that they knew each other already because that's how close they got so quickly. And then there are also triple rooms. So a triple room, there'd be three of you in the room, and you would have your own bathroom. Those ones are super cool and they're very like rare on campus. They're huge rooms and again, like instead of just having one instant friend you get two so it's a bonus

This is huntin house. It is the largest residence on the south side of campus. There are four floors and 108 residents. Their host colors are green and white and their mascot is a panther. In hunting house there are both single and double rooms and all students living here we'll use all gender private community washrooms, and there are at least 10 of them on every floor. They're very private. They have everything you need, and the best part about them is that you don't have to clean them yourself.

This is Thorton house on the south side of campus. It was recently renovated in 2016 and has 71 residents living on four floors. Their house colors are red and black and their mascot is a stallion. All of the rooms in Thornton house are singles but there are two different kinds of bathrooms. So there are private ensuite washrooms, which means that you have your own bathroom that's just attached to your room and nobody else uses it except you. There are also all gender private community washrooms on each floor. So these are quite similar except that you share them with other people on your floor. Again, they're very private have everything you need. And the bonus about them is that you don't have to clean them but if you have an ensuite washroom, you're responsible for cleaning it yourself.

This is Windsor Hall. Windsor is the most newly renovated residence on campus. It has five floors and 146 residents and its house colors are red and blue. It's one of the most desired residences by incoming students. So if you want to live here it's a really good idea to apply to mount as early as you can and pay your deposits to secure your spot. There are three different room types and Windsor Hall and they all have an ensuite style washroom. There are two different kinds of ensuite so you could have a private ensuite, which means it's just your own bathroom, nobody else will be using it. Or you could have a shared ensuite, which means you share the washroom with either your roommate or your neighbor. The three different room types. The first kind is a single private ensuite, so you have your own room and your own bathrooms very private and just your own space. You could also have a single shared ensuite so you still have your own like space in your own room. But then your bathroom is then shared like I said with your neighbor or your roommate. And then there are also the double shared ensuite so you and a roommate will live in the same room and then the two of you will share a bathroom as well. Like the North Side residences Harper and the Campbell Windsor Hall has a lounge space for students to use on every floor.

Interim Library construction begins Spring 2025, opening Summer 2027.
Students, faculty, and staff will have access to the full range of library services at the Interim Library. The facility\u2019s main entrance will face Lansdowne Street and the building will be fully accessible and include gender-inclusive and barrier-free washrooms.
The facility will house the library\u2019s main print collections in addition to a variety of study spaces for students, including group and individual study, collaborative study, and quiet study. The Writing Centre will be located in the Interim Library and a fully operational caf\u00e9 will also operate out of the space. Of course, librarians and library staff will also be available to support the needs of students and faculty throughout the renovation process.\u00a0
Multi-Sport Complex Fit-Up and Project Completion Winter 2030-2031
The facility will start as an Interim Library during renovations to the R.P. Bell Library, then transition into a permanent sports and recreation complex.
The Multi-Sport Complex will house facilities for a variety of sports and recreation activities including intramural and club sports, be utilized 12 months of the year, support all students, and provide a new venue for Mount Allison and community events.
