Overview

Journal of Mathematical Sciences publishes direct submissions (Series A) as well as English translations from outstanding Russian-and Ukrainian-language publications of authoritative reports on current mathematical advances (Series B). Articles cover a wide range of topics, including mathematical analysis, probability, statistics, algebra, geometry, mathematical physics, wave propagation, stochastic processes, boundary value problems, linear operators, and number and function theory. See the Aims & Scope for more details.

The journal is a valuable resource for pure and applied mathematicians, statisticians, systems theorists and analysts, and information scientists.

  • Call for Papers: Special Issue “Research in Modern Analysis by Young Mathematicians”

This special issue is a collection of selected articles by young researchers with a team of editors also composed of early-career mathematicians. It aims to publish high-quality original scientific papers in various fields of mathematics, including the broad field of harmonic analysis, its applications, and related fields such as PDEs, approximation theory, and operator theory. It also welcomes contributions in other areas of mathematics that can be described as general analysis and applications.

The main purpose of the special issue is to offer a platform for young researchers to publish their work and advance their careers. Additionally, this special issue is designed to provide young editors with the opportunity to learn and engage in the scientific publication process. The journal intends to create a community of young researchers in the field of mathematics, facilitating collaboration, networking, and the exchange of ideas. Deadline for submission: December 31, 2025

  • Call for Papers: Selected papers from the XV Annual International Conference of the Georgian Mathematical Union

The Annual International Conference of the Georgian Mathematical Union was established in 2010 and has been held traditionally at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University in September. Since 2021 the conference has been conducted in a hybrid format. The purpose of the conference is to bring together mathematicians from various fields to present their original research results and provide opportunities to establish new connections within the fields of pure and applied mathematics, as well as science, engineering, and technology.

Deadline for submission: December 31, 2025

  • Call for Papers: Special Issue on “Advances in Dynamical Systems, Game Theory, and Optimization"

This Special Issue, in collaboration with the Gulf International Conference on Applied Mathematics (GICAM 25), to be held at Gulf University for Science and Technology (Kuwait) from November 18–20, 2025, aims to gather cutting-edge research in dynamical systems, control theory, game theory, optimization, and their interdisciplinary applications. It will highlight theoretical advances and analytical techniques in areas such as nonsmooth systems, variational methods, equilibrium problems, PDE analysis, machine learning and data-driven approaches for PDEs, computational and mathematical biology, and numerical analysis with structure-preserving schemes. All submissions must present original theoretical contributions and should be written for a mathematically mature audience. Manuscripts based purely on computational results without rigorous analysis will not be considered.

Submissions Open Date: November 25, 2025
