OK, that's fine for Symfony 7.3, but that doesn't help in Symfony 6.4, where this feature doesn't exists. Will this be backported? Because without it, the changes to doctrine-bundle to exclude Entities are without a resolution, as far as I understand it.

Also, is the CompilerPass the only way to get the list, or do the tagged iterators work on resource tags?

@s-bernstein Did you find a solution for this issue? I think I've run into the same issue. Suddenly my Doctrine ORM Entities are no longer tagged.

tagged iterators are about injecting an iterator of service instances, so they don't work for resource tags (the whole point of them being that you don't want to create services for those classes as they are not services)

@fnagel Yes, I basically wrote my own findTaggedResourceIds method as the one from 7.3 does not exists in 6.4. My solution uses a compiler pass to manipulate all the services TaggedIteratoreArguments for my collection classes before they are instantiated. It will find and add tagged resources by id to the supplied argument list. Seems to work fine for my cases.

I've now ended up with removing tagging of my entity classes completely. In order to have a list of all formerly tagged entities I'm using $entityManager->getMetadataFactory()->getAllMetadata() and do some filtering from there.
