Like so many, I want to help be part of the change this world needs to make it a beautiful inclusive place where humanity can love each other freely and passionately.” Called “Change,” Aguilera co-wrote the track with Fancy Hagood and Flo Reutter. All proceeds from download sales will be donated to the National Compassion Fund to benefit the victims and the families of those who died in Orlando. Aguilera’s “Change” follows a handful of other songs written and performed in honor of the Orlando victims. Melissa Etheridge debuted “Pulse,” a remembrance of the 49 people who died, earlier this week; Broadway stars like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Audra McDonald, and Idina Menzel will record a version of “What The World Needs Now is Love” to benefit the victims; and Nile Rodgers told EW he was working on a song that was “sympathetic to the incident that just happened in Orlando.” Close Read more: TV Article
