Definitely a step up…
I have to use translators and I have always had issues with being able to use the phone for a conversation because I have not had an app that could translate it in real time as I’m speaking and as they are speaking. This app changed that. I even called a friend of mine that speaks another language and checked its accuracy with him and he said that it was very accurate. I specifically chose Spanish as there are many Spanish-speaking people in my community.. I have clients that only speak Spanish and now I will be able to call them without having to have an interpreter there on the call. I look forward to integrating this app into my daily use.
The only thing that would be better is that My Freind said that my language sounded robotic as if it came from a robot instead of a person. So, if that can be fixed to where it could sound like me by doing a voice recognition or voice analysis to be able to make it sound like at least a human but if possible like me, that would really be impressive.

Fantastic!! Wish they had button to stop translating mid call maybe they do.
I just downloaded this yesterday and used twice. I’m in USA and calling Italy to make sure iPhone in Italy has physical SIM card slot. When I call the Apple Store in Italy I cannot understand the automated message system or what to press to speak to someone. This app helped translate the navigation menu so I spoke to a real person. At that point when I speak it translated well but there’s a teeny bit of waiting . I wish I could turn the translator off so I can speak with my real voice because most Italians speak English. However the translator was fantastic in translating what I was saying even though it was technical words like “physical SIM, nano SIM” i asked the lady to speak in English to me and I was able to get the answer I was looking for. This app is absolutely fantastic!!! Thank you so much for creating it.

If you don't want to use the translate function after you have been transfered to real person, you can change the other party's language same as yours, then you can use your originla voice to communicate to other person.

Works well
A little delay but it takes getting used to. If one mutes the callers voice then no delay. But if one uses their own voice then comes the wait. You have to decide which way you want it. Your voice then translator voice or just translated voice only. Either way the phone call is very good and the translation is very good. I also appreciate the written script at the close of the conversation.
