highly configurable system monitor for X based on torsmo
Conky is a system monitor for X originally based on the torsmo code. Since its original conception, Conky has changed a fair bit from its predecessor. Conky can display just about anything, either on your root desktop or in its own window. Conky has many built-in objects, as well as the ability to execute programs and scripts, then display the output from stdout. Maemo5: The initial port for maemo5 is intended to be run as a standalone app and not yet as a desktop widget. The default config has been reworked for suitability for the N900 platform. The launcher checks for the file /home/user/MyDocs/conky.conf and will run with that if it is present.

Great application
All needed Information on in one App. Useful and easy.
Helps me manage my device properly, and also helps me get full stats for various different things.
Excellent
I'm lazy to use top and other shell commands to check status or load. this app is really nice!
really loved this...great app!!!
I really love this resource monitor. Although it does look as if it has quite a big delay.
I'm glad you like Conky, although I'm sorry to say that I don't intend to change the icon, for the following reasons:
1) It is actually the official Conky logo. See http://conky.sourceforge.net/aboutconky.html
2) I made the icon myself.
3) I'm a big fan of Trailer Park Boys, and therefore of Conky himself. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trailer_park_boys
Great application. But I also wish for a more stylish icon. I would be happy to design one if its wanted.
This is the killer app to floor all other phone-toting geeks in under three seconds :-)
Great app, you can find out many interesting things about your favourite internet tablet.
Real good system monitor, just wish it had an icon that looked a bit better ;), but other than that it's great.
Best tool available for the N900 - now we need a proper FILE MANAGER GUI like FBReader has, when selecting: \"Library"\"add Book".
Useful and reliable monitor. Highly recommended if you are curious about system status and performance down to the app level.
I keep expecting to see US/USSR maps and missile tracks pop up ;)
