Reddit Enhancement Suite now has over 3 million users, but the number of donators is more like "many dozens" than hundreds or thousands. RES wasn't created as a commercial endeavor, but it has grown so huge that it has become far more than a little side hobby - it's basically like a second job. It's a lot of work to keep updating the code, adding new features, fixing bugs and most importantly providing technical support on /r/RESIssues and interacting with users on /r/Enhancement. Supporting RES would help us give a little something back to the other contributors who volunteer their time to help out with it - and yes, it might buy us a few cups of coffee to stay awake writing code, too. We'd love to hear your ideas about what sorts of rewards we can give out for various donation tiers. It's kind of hard to come up with those when your product is open source software, and people probably aren't super interested in an exclusive google hangout, etc!
