Training on the Diagnosis of Cocoa Swollen Shoot Disease and the Development of a Renovation Plan

Côte d’Ivoire, the world’s leading cocoa producer, is facing a major challenge: the viral disease known as cocoa swollen shoot disease (CSSD).

To strengthen farmers’ resilience, around 50 cooperative coaches from Tony’s open chain have been trained from 12- 22 August to identify symptoms, apply best practices, and support producers in the fight against this disease. These images capture: Training and knowledge-sharing sessions/Practical field demonstrations.
