The webinar showcased SFITAL’s integrated, multi-scale approach to addressing key gaps in implementation, investment, accountability, and intervention. Presenters highlighted the importance of participatory processes that engage farmers in training and decision-making; the use of data-driven tools such as LUMENS and R-FALLOW to guide land-use planning; and the value of public-private collaboration in scaling agroecological practices. Innovations in capacity development, particularly for smallholders, women, and youth, were emphasized as essential to long-term sustainability and resilience. The formalization of local sustainability roadmaps through district-level decrees and the application of ecological fiscal transfers also demonstrated promising pathways for scaling impact.
