If the detected language does not match the current meeting language setting, a nudge will appear on-screen for the user. This prompt allows a quick switch to the correct language, restarting the generation of meeting artifacts in the appropriate tongue to maintain record integrity.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Why it matters</b></div><div>As organizations become more global, meetings may be initiated with incorrect default settings. Inaccurate language settings lead to poor quality transcripts and notes that don't reflect the actual conversation. This feature ensures that even if a meeting starts with the wrong language configuration, users can course-correct within seconds to capture every detail accurately.</div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Getting started</h3><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Admins: </b>There is no admin control for this feature.</li><li><b>End users: </b>This feature will be ON by default. When a mismatch is detected, a nudge will appear after approximately 30 seconds of continued speech in the secondary language. Users can select Change language to update the setting or Ignore to dismiss the prompt. The following languages are supported: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Now, we’re also introducing Lyria 3 Pro, an advanced version that allows users to create tracks up to three minutes long, with customization and creative control. Lyria 3 Pro better understands musical composition, so users can now prompt for specific elements like intros, verses, choruses, and bridges. It’s great for experimenting with different styles or adding custom tracks to projects, presentations, or assets.<div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4NSMIvQQe_QV7ZD8Fv_Hm8gOoxK-qcxqA4ifype1UhlImwEiQE-HadhZ-93bEG4W7Vpd6a-NEK9FOmHKBqb1yXRoJ_zFVPDHZLbj0NEkBaqQn2kCxqytX77gsy-LtYsTE6lXEgSN4OFqLXGBtUdvfNrwEssWLn0AC9I46Yy9RIc7omzLnvcHjhkEz3oY/s640/Lyria%203%20Pro%20full-length%20songs.gif" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="360" data-original-width="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4NSMIvQQe_QV7ZD8Fv_Hm8gOoxK-qcxqA4ifype1UhlImwEiQE-HadhZ-93bEG4W7Vpd6a-NEK9FOmHKBqb1yXRoJ_zFVPDHZLbj0NEkBaqQn2kCxqytX77gsy-LtYsTE6lXEgSN4OFqLXGBtUdvfNrwEssWLn0AC9I46Yy9RIc7omzLnvcHjhkEz3oY/s16000/Lyria%203%20Pro%20full-length%20songs.gif" /></a></div><div><div><br /></div><div><i><b>Note: </b>Lyria 3 Pro music generation in Gemini is currently available globally in English, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French for users over the age of 18.</i></div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Getting started</h3><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Admins: </b>The Gemini app and related in-app tools are controlled by the Generative AI settings in the Workspace Admin console. To address this, we are expanding the "Help me schedule" functionality in Gmail (<a href="https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2025/10/help-me-schedule-meeting-gmail-calendar.html" target="_blank">introduced in October 2025</a>) to support group meetings.<div><br /></div><div>Previously, "Help me schedule" was limited to scheduling between two individuals. With this update, users can now coordinate meetings with multiple guests directly from the Gmail compose window.</div><div><br /></div><div>Gemini in Gmail detects when you are trying to coordinate a time within an email and will surface a Help me schedule button in the toolbar. If there is more than one recipient on the thread, Gemini will propose ideal time slots that work for you and any colleagues, if you have visibility to their calendar. While the initial guest list is pulled automatically from the email thread, users have full control to edit guests as needed.</div><div><br /></div><div>When a recipient receives the email, they can cross-reference the proposed availability against their own colleagues' schedules. Once a recipient selects a time, a Calendar invite is automatically sent to all guests.</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguGtfocaYDjAGTvuQiKQyEk9gsQKNyM_jCAbXlyOiNVEsy7rGGr8Dy2_5MdXhlam4eCAE2X3B6UaJJJyRjSGaayiS1H3uFUtAvaPB1VKWouczSLAXE01USbN60215r-jXqENqFSyfJQ0xeYGNVoG3b-5FXZtylYN4XP9cFkKN5R7N9wf2V_uJL85AotKw/s1280/Help%20Me%20Schedule%20with%20Externals%20in%20Gmail%206601.gif" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="1280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguGtfocaYDjAGTvuQiKQyEk9gsQKNyM_jCAbXlyOiNVEsy7rGGr8Dy2_5MdXhlam4eCAE2X3B6UaJJJyRjSGaayiS1H3uFUtAvaPB1VKWouczSLAXE01USbN60215r-jXqENqFSyfJQ0xeYGNVoG3b-5FXZtylYN4XP9cFkKN5R7N9wf2V_uJL85AotKw/s16000/Help%20Me%20Schedule%20with%20Externals%20in%20Gmail%206601.gif" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>Core capabilities:</div><div><br /></div><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Analyze schedules and suggest meeting times: </b>Gemini proposes ideal time slots that work for you and your colleagues (that you have calendar visibility for), based on their availability, working hours, and other factors</li><li><b>Manage guest list: </b>The initial guest list for the meeting gets pulled automatically from the email thread, and users have full control to edit the guests</li><li><b>Automate invites: </b>Once a recipient selects a time, a Calendar invite is automatically sent to all guests, including external participants.</li></ul></div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Getting started</h3><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Admins: </b>Visit our Help Center to learn how to <a href="https://support.google.com/a/answer/15698295" target="_blank">manage access to Gemini features in Workspace services.</a></li><li><b>End users:</b> Visit the Help Center to learn more about <a href="https://support.google.com//calendar/answer/16865189" target="_blank">scheduling events in Gmail.</a></li></ul></div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Rollout pace</h3><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><a href="https://support.google.com/a/answer/172177" target="_blank">Rapid Release domains:</a> Extended rollout (potentially longer than 15 days for feature visibility) started on February 25, 2026</li><li><a href="https://support.google.com/a/answer/172177" target="_blank">Scheduled Release domains:</a> Gradual rollout (up to 15 days for feature visibility) starting on March 16, 2026</li></ul></div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Availability</h3><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Business: </b>Business Standard and Plus</li><li><b>Enterprise:</b> Enterprise Starter, Standard, and Plus</li><li><b>AI Add-ons: </b>Google AI Pro for Education</li><li><b>Other Editions: </b>Frontline Plus</li></ul></div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Resources</h3><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Google Help: <a href="https://support.google.com/mail?p=help_me_schedule" target="_blank">Schedule events in Gmail</a></li><li>Google Workspace Updates Blog: <a href="https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2025/10/help-me-schedule-meeting-gmail-calendar.html" target="_blank">Use Help me schedule to easily set up a meeting time over email</a></li></ul></div>Paul Jiménez Velahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08768049453104799400[email protected]0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5245696872621940063.post-22273416968206308422026-03-11T08:59:00.000-07:002026-03-24T17:42:59.609-07:00Control continuous meeting chat for your organization<div><span style="color: red;">[Update - March 24, 2026] This setting is currently available to administrators with the Super Admin role only. This is particularly useful for workflows that require selecting from thousands of possibilities—such as assigning a ticket in a project management tool or selecting a specific file from a large database.<div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg38JfCBMgglRMjAKZUDeFp0dDWlauto0sehouUd9HdO3G5ZuKOAbH8JxlYlVLlvprlcjBIVgWREHTFiNwbB7x0Xn6iP30CAXHkbl3RFMvRyX14zgYnSZq83NqBMKDBMkievcJ84KeeBFubaEyS-qx4ovWwPztpkmU7tjbcnPdOD5fv8An7g3K8T9EXR0Y/s1280/Dynamic%20data%20source%20support%20for%20dropdowns%20in%20Google%20Chat%20apps%206587.gif" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="1280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg38JfCBMgglRMjAKZUDeFp0dDWlauto0sehouUd9HdO3G5ZuKOAbH8JxlYlVLlvprlcjBIVgWREHTFiNwbB7x0Xn6iP30CAXHkbl3RFMvRyX14zgYnSZq83NqBMKDBMkievcJ84KeeBFubaEyS-qx4ovWwPztpkmU7tjbcnPdOD5fv8An7g3K8T9EXR0Y/s16000/Dynamic%20data%20source%20support%20for%20dropdowns%20in%20Google%20Chat%20apps%206587.gif" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div>Key benefits include:</div><div><br /></div><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Improved searchability: </b>Users can now use fuzzy search to find the correct option quickly, rather than scrolling through long lists or using "find" browser commands.</li><li><b>Faster performance: </b>By querying data dynamically, apps avoid the latency issues associated with loading massive static lists.</li><li><b>Consistent user experience: </b>The dropdown interface now supports search-as-you-type for both static and remote data sources, providing a smoother experience across all platforms, including web, Android, and iOS.</li></ul></div><div>Developers can also specify a minimum number of characters to trigger a search, ensuring that queries are only sent when enough information has been provided to return relevant results.</div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Getting started</h3><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Admins: </b>There is no admin control for this feature.</li><li><b>End users: </b>There is no end user setting for this feature.</li><li><b>Developers: </b>Developers can implement this by reviewing the updated <a href="https://developers.google.com/workspace/add-ons/chat/collect-information?_gl=1*11xnwl2*_up*MQ..*_ga*MjA5NDg3MzU4NC4xNzcyMjQzNDkw*_ga_SM8HXJ53K2*czE3NzIyNDM0OTAkbzEkZzAkdDE3NzIyNDM0OTAkajYwJGwwJGgw" target="_blank">Chat app developer documentation</a>.</li></ul></div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Rollout pace</h3><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li><a href="https://support.google.com/a/answer/172177" target="_blank">Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains:</a> Available now</li></ul></div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Availability</h3><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Available to all Google Workspace customers and Workspace Individual subscribers</li></ul></div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Resources</h3><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Developer documentation: <a href="https://developers.google.com/workspace/add-ons/chat/collect-information?_gl=1*11xnwl2*_up*MQ..*_ga*MjA5NDg3MzU4NC4xNzcyMjQzNDkw*_ga_SM8HXJ53K2*czE3NzIyNDM0OTAkbzEkZzAkdDE3NzIyNDM0OTAkajYwJGwwJGgw" target="_blank">Collect and process information from Google Chat</a></li><li>Developer documentation: <a href="https://developers.google.com/workspace/add-ons/chat?_gl=1*xcu7qb*_up*MQ..*_ga*MTE2MjgwMTczNS4xNzcyNjg5NTgy*_ga_SM8HXJ53K2*czE3NzI2ODk1ODEkbzEkZzAkdDE3NzI2ODk1ODEkajYwJGwwJGgw" target="_blank">Get started building for Google Chat</a></li></ul></div>Paul Jiménez Velahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08768049453104799400[email protected]0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5245696872621940063.post-57745341388943259202026-03-04T11:01:00.000-08:002026-03-04T11:01:50.036-08:00Improving the connection between Google Calendar events and Google Meet callsFor each video call, Meet attempts to connect the right Calendar event to determine:<div><br /><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Who receives <a href="https://support.google.com/meet/answer/14754931?hl=en&ref_topic=14073938&sjid=10572852506821272113-NC#zippy=" target="_blank">meeting records</a> (ex.
