Great news! The Code is Science manifesto has been accepted for two talks - #GCCBOSC and #RSE2018. We'll be updating the site to allow people to formally pledge support of the manifesto soon, but in the meantime we ould use your help - here's how
We are! 💓 We've also had @Festus_nyasimi, @DelwenFranzen and @acjwd3 working with us this afternoon on how to spot articles that are missing code, and we had a visit from @ryan_a_davies plus @StuartRFKing chatting about journal perspectives this morning ✨
The @codeisscience team has a survey to create personas based on real-life needs - if you deal with scientific papers or code (review, write papers or code, editing, other) - could you answer a v. short survey? (2-3 mins) forms.gle/Vm94BJPKbvZCxX… 😄
Hopefully some of the stickers and manifestos we posted a couple of weeks ago have arrived! Share pics of your swag in-situ for retweets, hearts, and instant fame ;)
I ought to add, you are also welcome to these even if not at #GCCBOSC ! DM me the details; happy to send out small batches for free, or if you want a lot then some help towards shipping would be appreciated.
Check it out - new stickers and manifesto leaflets! If you're coming to #GCCBOSC and would like a pack of Code is Science goodies, let me know before Saturday and I'll make sure to pack some for you...
