The Revived Soldiers Ukraine Charity Foundation was the first in Ukraine to open a Neurorehabilitation Center for people with central nervous system injuries, in particular, brain and spinal cord injuries – NextStep Ukraine.
NextStep Ukraine works according to US rehabilitation standards and is a follower of NextStep Fitness Los Angeles (California), where paralyzed military and civilians undergo rehabilitation.

Before the opening of NextStep Ukraine, Ukrainian military personnel were rehabilitated at NextStep Los Angeles for over 4 years, and in 2018, in order to increase the number of rehabilitated military personnel and rehabilitation opportunities, we opened the Center in the city of Irpin

NextStep Ukraine has the most modern equipment: Xcite (electrical stimulation), RT-300 (electrical stimulation of the lower extremities), Nustep (gait simulation), which has been used by patients with neurotrauma in the USA for the last 15 years. Such equipment is unique in Ukraine.

Financial statements for 2024.

This year was the first full-fledged working year for our small but powerful fund. We spent 7,316,130.33 hryvnias on various areas of work. Below are brief descriptions of them. You can view the annual report to the State Fiscal Service at these links 1. Report on the use of income of a non-profit organization 2024 2. Financial statements of a microenterprise 2024 3,705,630.33 hryvnias for medical equipment and supplies for civilian and military hospitals where our defenders are treated. Also for medical companies and field hospitals, and individual medical supplies targeted at the wounded. 2,000,000 hryvnias for orthopedic rehabilitation of the wounded. As part of a partnership project with NextStep Ukraine, we financed the rehabilitation of 50 defenders from various structures of the Defense Forces. We spent 1,610,500 hryvnias from your donations to pay for the rehabilitation of seriously injured people with neurotraumas. In 2024, we signed an agreement with the best rehabilitation center in the country, Modrychi, where four of our wards are currently undergoing rehabilitation. In 2025, we want to focus maximum efforts on this area, because it is the most problematic among all areas of rehabilitation of the wounded. And that is why this is where help from volunteers and charitable organizations is most needed. Our humble team would like to sincerely thank you for every penny, every like, every repost. If it weren't for you, none of this would have happened. It is you who give our patients the opportunity to receive high-quality and modern treatment, high-quality and necessary rehabilitation, a much-needed modern hearing aid, and, in general, a chance for recovery and a quality life. Thank you! Sincerely, RELY.

Frequently asked questions

How was the fund created?

The main inspirer of the foundation, ATO/OS veteran Volodymyr Sheredega, was injured during a full-scale invasion. His own story of long and painful treatment and rehabilitation, which he openly shared on social media, attracted the attention of many citizens. Already during his recovery, Volodymyr shared with his followers the stories of other fighters who needed treatment and rehabilitation. The stories received publicity, and the heroes of these stories received financial assistance from caring Ukrainians. We can say that the idea of creating a fund is a combination of many factors, including personal experience in the institutions of the domestic medical system, the willingness of Ukrainians to financially assist wounded veterans, and the desire to help doctors and medical/rehabilitation institutions at the systemic level.

Who are we and what do we do?

Rely Foundation is a Ukrainian charitable foundation founded in 2023 by ATO/JFO and full-scale invasion veteran Volodymyr Sheredega, together with his friend and volunteer Volodymyr Myroshnychenko.

We strive to help veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war with treatment and rehabilitation. Everyone who defended our land should receive all the necessary assistance and fully recover from what they experienced.

Why isn't the state doing this?

Because an active civil society that cares about the problems of the state is what any developed Western state relies on.
During Covid, the vast majority of developed countries in the world faced a semi-collapse of medical facilities and a shortage of workers. It is difficult to imagine the degree of inefficiency of medical facilities and government institutions in other countries in the event of war. Unfortunately, war came to Ukraine. There are many things on the part of state and local governments and institutions that we are all unhappy with. But people who gave their health for our peaceful life should not be held hostage by an imperfect state system.

What portion of the fees does the foundation spend on maintaining the team?

The team works exclusively on a volunteer basis. All funds raised are spent on targeted needs. If you would like to support the team and our expenses for fuel, paper, transportation, etc., we would be grateful for a donation to Mr. Printer.

How can I get equipment for my hospital?

There is a feedback form on the “Contacts” page. Fill it out and representatives of our foundation will contact you.

How can a veteran receive assistance from the fund?

Currently, the foundation helps organize funds for individual treatment, rehabilitation, and individual complex prosthetics. We don’t have the operating cash to pay such a bill quickly…

Can I join as a volunteer and under what conditions?

Thank you for the initiative! Right now, we need help most with fundraising. If you have a large Ukrainian audience or access to international audiences, we would be grateful for your sharing of information about us. If there is a hospital or rehabilitation facility in your city, we would be grateful if you would become our eyes: find out what exactly the facility needs, connect us with the management, and we will announce the collection and acquire the funds. If you know a veteran who needs help, but due to a lack of information, this person is not receiving the necessary assistance – please contact us.

What currency can I transfer funds in?
We accept donations in Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH), American dollars (USD), and euros (EUR).
