Hi there 👋

Hi my name is Evan! I'm a software engineer working on a startup, Afterlife Systems Incorporated. We are creating A.I. reconstructed personalities of real-world individuals through fine-tuning and few shot prompting data pipe-lined from social media, told through personal stories of our users, or uploaded by the users themselves. I am looking for a partner to join me in an incubator. If you are interested in the work or the partnership, please contact me!

Typical use cases include:

  • Recreating experiences of communicating with people no longer with us to celebrate the best of their existence and to continue experiencing their presence.
  • Creating entertaining experiences of interacting with public-domain characters.
  • Creating your own avatar to share or for insights into your own personal health and well-being by ingesting health-kit data such as nutrition, sleep, financial data, time-tracking data, browsing history, and physical activity.
  • Creating messages in your own custom tone of voice for use in email responses, tweet responses, and custom git logs or to assist in writing in your own vocal style.
  • Creating simple public avatars for context-oriented responses from the Project Gutenberg Bible to offer the world a safe, comforting place for their prayers with personal responses from the Bible or other religious text.
  • Creating non-denominational motivational public speaker avatars with their consent for personal on-demand contextual self help guidance.
  • Future integration with neural data for thought-to-media and media-to-thought applications (thought-to-image, image-to-neural waveform, etc.): https://github.com/efwoods/V1-Visual-Cortex-Visualization

I am currently working on:

  • Developing pipelines to pull, clean, and upload data from social media or uploaded files.
  • Creating statistical proof of the authenticity of the responses using metrics such as the Mahalanobis Distance with respect to metrics such as rouge and BERT scores to measure response semantic similarity as well as longest sub-sequence length with the aim of evaluating authenticity against a known public individual's dataset.
  • Creating API endpoints to allow use of the Langgraph graph through integrations with other social media bot interfaces such as Slack, Discord, Twitter, and Twitch among others for moderation or any of the above listed features of the application.
  • Optimizing the architecture to allow for a scalable API interface to support the requests of multiple simultaneous users.
  • Fine-tuning adapters to attach to meta-llama models.

If you have experience or interest in any of the above areas, I welcome working with you in the future.

I am planning on applying to incubators such as Nvidia's Inception program and Y Combinator Summer 2026.

Thank you for your time, interest, and attention! Best of luck with all your future efforts!
