• Tree companies donate services at Camp Butler National Cemetery (illinoistimes.com) — Camp Butler National Cemetery, just outside Riverton, received a major boost as five professional tree companies volunteered to remove hazardous trees and plant new ones during a national day of service. Local arborist Steve Green led the effort, which improved safety and preserved the historic landscape where more than 25,000 people, including Civil War soldiers, are interred.
