Fun anime so far, no pedo-loli shite. MC isn't a creep to kids and the whole anime actually has a cute/funny vibe to it.

MC is also a badass that doesn't overdo the "badass" bits, using them sparingly (works way better). Nor does he run to join a party like a bitch, which some other "OPMC" love to do.

7/10.. unless this anime does something to fuck the vibes up.

I am shocked.

6 Episodes of character and world development instead of just making the MC a noble in 2-3 episodes like most Isekai do.

I have to commend the writer and director for going this route. Whoever this "Hamuo" writer for this Manga is, must've seen enough Isekai anime to know how not to fuck things up.

I'll rate this 7/10, and depending on the rest of the episodes, rating might go up and down.

I'm kinda enjoying it.

3DCGI can be a bit iffy at times, but it seems to get a lot of things with "OPMC" right. And I like that so far the MC can fight on his own without relying on 'friends', which seems to be how most of these stories go.

Hmm.. 5/10, enjoying it more than "Sentenced to Be a Hero".

That said, after episode 9, it's slowly turning into another generic fantasy anime focused on romance and MC going "OMG YOU GUYS ARE SO NICE FOR LETTING ME INTO YOUR PARTY" for the 50th fucking time. As always, Japanese writers keep forgetting their own premise, especially the "party of none" part.

A bit iffy art-style, but the story is good at pulling your heart-strings with likable characters.

Made me shed some manly tears, so this is now on this list.

Pretty chill anime with characters who aren't annoying.

Especially the MC. He isn't doing the whole, "I'm an old guy in child's body perving on little girls." think most such anime do. MC acts mostly like a gifted child and doesn't spend time mentioning his past life 24/7.

Overall, it's entertaining enough.

Average Isekai where the writer is trying way too hard to make an edgy, cool, evil dragon.. but is incapable of even writing an interesting human being, forget creating a unique or interesting world or creatures that inhabit it.

It also features a thoughtless/pointless level-up system a lot of these fantasy anime have. Here, they could've done away with the Isekai nonsense completely and you wouldn't have noticed a difference. But that requires having an actual imagination, and we can't have that.

5/10, watch it if you have no other competent Isekai to watch.. not that there are many of those floating around. 🤣

I always enjoy a good sports anime where MC works hard to get to the top. Makes me wanna rush out to gym, more than watching Goku level-up for 10 episodes.

Fun characters, MC isn't annoying though he's almost too perfect in everything he does, but I guess that's what overachievers are like in life (most of us wouldn't know).

Anyway, 7/10.

It's just well done version of it.

Fun characters, no one's annoying, and no pedo/loli shit happening.

I enjoy slice of life anime, and this is one of those which get most of the things right.

Well written characters, good plot that keeps flowing every episode (without fillers) and adds to the world, good side characters who don't feel like generic NPC's from a BioWare or Bethesda game.

That said, I'm not a fan of "open to interpretation" ending this show had. Oh well.

You'll binge watch this in a sitting or two.

Lighthearted anime that leaves you hanging, not resolving major plot point in the end.

Overall, the characters aren't annoying and you'll most likely end up finishing it in a setting or two, so that's a plus.

I just wish writers would try to give satisfying end to their stories instead of trying to do sequel-bait when chances of season 2 happening are usually none.

Anyway, because of unsatisfying ending and a few wasted episodes that could've been used for it (specifically third-last episode, which felt like a filler), I had to lower the rating from 7/10 to 6/10.

Not a bad show, but could've been much better with proper script.

A bit confusing start (for first two episodes) but this show really nails the relationship between two leads almost perfectly.

Also, I like that the kid acts like a kid (most of the time) and there is none of that pervy loli-pedo-shit going on to make you uncomfortable when she's around.

I was worried they would go full Overlord and make another OP MC with OP minions dominating the world, but they seem to have made interesting choices to make this anime different.

Still don't like the MC much, especially his stupid outfit and art style, but the show is entertaining enough to keep watching till the end.

I've avoided watching this anime for a while, keeping it on my watchlist for years, mostly because any pedo/loli shit is a instant turn off for me.

But since I was on a roll watching slice-of-life anime for last few days, decided to watch this anyway.

It went as expected.

MC has a weird loli/pedo fetish for sisters and it completely kills the character for me. The sad part is, if they got rid of the loli/sister/pedo shit, they could have an acceptable 6/10 anime that is about struggles of writers and artists.

But no, instead of get some creepy mofo creeping on kids, because that's what the writer prefers. Yay.


5/10 (-5 for loli nonsense. Game was rigged from the start.)

A generic anime with the most annoying "tough guy" MC who just wanders around talking about "revenge", but when comes the chance to take said revenge, wastes time debating whether or not he should.

On top of that, a terrible love interest in the form of generic white-haired fantasy elf, feels forced and is incredibly fucking annoying (whenever she opens her mouth).

In-fact, the characters are so "by the book" that the writer literally copies the personality of the MC and his stupid love interest into another couple later on in the season (really, you can't tell the fucking difference). The plot had a chance to deliver the twist at the beginning itself, but the writer didn't take it, so you KNOW this Manga writer wrote the most basic-bitch fantasy Manga ever.

I rated this 6/10 before when I started watching this. At this rate, the rating will go down further.

Typical shitty manga writing makes a comeback. MC can tackle any challenge, defeat any enemy, learn any skill (even if it makes no sense), get all the girls, get all the fame and probably has some super secret power built inside of him that he hasn't realized yet.

That said, at-least the MC isn't some annoying femboi cuck like in some other animes recently, and NPC's don't make you wanna bash their brains in. So that's a plus.

I'd say, this is watchable anime for when you have nothing else to watch. This will most likely never get a season 2 as well, and I don't see them giving a satisfying ending to season 1 already.

MC can be slightly annoying doing that whole "angry yelling kid" thing, but over-all, the world is slightly more interesting than the first episode initially made it look like.

Not a fan of multiple characters in silly fancy clothing showing up to do their shtick, especially when they don't match the over-all theme of the world, but whatever, that's the common theme in every anime at this point.

So far it is watchable, 6/10 show.

You're gonna hate it if you don't like people talking too much, but other than that, it starts getting interesting after episode 3.

Will update the review as I watch more.

MC is boring, but the side characters actually make it easier to sit through this.

It doesn't help that the major thread of "demon lord" is as boring as it sounds, with generic enemies with zero personalities being killed left and right. Every action scene just turns into a bore with a lot of explosions, jumping around and yelling, and you kinda just don't give a fuck about any of it.

Yes, it's an action anime where I enjoy quieter moments with the MC's team members more than the action, which is hilarious.

5/10 anime, not worth the ridiculous rating it's at (and it's all because of the visuals).

Could've been cuter if they didn't add every fetish under the sun to ruin the jokes and vibes completely.

Eh, give it a try.
