My experience with a guitar is close to non-existent :p what kind of music have you tried getting into? :) I have a habit of listening to the same stuff for years, so I do that very rarely.
Oh, I remember the first year of university being a bit overwhelming >_< too many things happening, and everything is too new, aside from other things.
