I think demon slayer has both good animation n plot. I usually don't care much about animation but it makes the fighting scenes better imo since I usually get bored if there's too many fighting scenes but demon slayer's a different story even all the action scenes r pretty amazing along with the demon's backstories (╥﹏╥).
KyushuYokai Yesterday, 11:44 AM
I agree with Owari no seraph that was another one that i loved i was hoping that would keep going but nope isekai takes prio
KyushuYokai Yesterday, 11:01 AM
Same anymore i much prefer manga there is just some im curious to see what it would be like for example Choujin X or Hibi Chouchou would be cool (i know Choujin X is on going) but yeah im big on Sui Ishida so i would love to see him in the spotlight again Tokyo Ghoul was my everything at one point and there is other things that happen only in manga that i would have loved to have seen in the anime version like Nisekoi s3 that was promised but never came
KyushuYokai Yesterday, 10:48 AM
Something tells me they will cause its mainly isekai with these titles to get the green light for a adaption which is sad cause there is so many good completed mangas that dont even have an anime
KyushuYokai Yesterday, 8:43 AM
Idk maybe trying to set themselves apart from the others? idk cause they are all the same anyway
Gwynbleidd_Alan Mar 25, 3:03 PM
Yeah. You’re welcome! I think you can learn a lot about a person by the way they talk and exchange information. And I think I can tell a lot about how you function. It’s truly fascinating. I hope I can make better experiences when it comes to work in the future, cause working in the service industry was sort of a nightmare for me. I thought it would help me but it made my issues worse. People would let out their frustration on me for the dumbest things. Like why was I getting screamed at because we don’t have a specific type of ice cream ? It’s not like I hid it on purpose. I think you can also tell a lot about a person by how they treat a server or something like that.

Yeah the outer appearance probably also plays a roll. I have a big fat Japanese demon mask tattooed on my hand for example which probably gives a lot of people a bad impression of me. I’m okay with it, but find it weird how stigmatized tattoos still are. Kinda makes me sad. It does not change who I am or what I am.
KyushuYokai Mar 25, 2:06 PM
Yeah im use to animes with one to three words as their titles so i get it idk its just something that seemed to have started when isekai took over unfortunately
Talco_Najja Mar 25, 8:21 AM
Though I would say there are just topics I may be not very interested in, it's not about liking them or not.

Ohh right, I mean, you can't talk about airplanes if you don't know about airplanes
but reality about living in them isn't that ideal, or only tourists love it

I guess is the normal in every country, nice tourist place, living there? no please 😭🙏
, I could only travel to an isolated place and live there all alone

No wayyy, you're leaving the society💔💔
It's funny because most people would prefer warm countries.

That’s because they live in temperate countries 😭😭they don’t know what 45 degree heat feels like like I do. I think everyone becomes team cold in those conditions. You can protect yourself from the cold, but not from the heat, it’s as simple as that
Anyway, I have very warm feelings toward Lithuania.

nices vibes, Which country has your favorite people?
Just that slavic and baltic countries are closest to my heart, mindset and my physical place.

Ohhh why?
I guess you meant Australia as a country? I hope you're aware it's also a continent.

YESS, I'm aware 😭🙏 don't worry
Because Australian fauna is really unique and diverse

Mjum Mjum, very unique
what place you'd choose?

Hmmmm Idk If it’s to live alone, I’d choose some forest in Canada, not too far from a town, so it’s not hours just to get basic supplies. If it’s with a family, then wherever my wife wants, what about u?
one person said it's like hissing and I lean toward the second answer

OHHh, sounds a nice kind of lenguage
I haven't heard Argentinian language as well, maybe because it doesn't exist as far as I know. I actually know someone else from Argentina who lives here in Poland...

Well, argentina lenguage is just spanish, altought we have a native lenguage But nobody really speak that, not even 5% of us
andd how is your argentina poland friend? what are your thoughts about argentina people

But I wonder if you'd still be fine with me if I wrote over 10 000 characters in one text.

I don’t think I’d take it badly, I’d probably push myself to write a bit more so there isn’t such a big difference in the length of our messages. I wouldn’t like that gap in “passion” even if sometimes I don’t know what to say.
What kind of things would bother you that someone does?

There's also one topic they focus on, usually

which one?
I also met people who certainly didn't know what opinions and views are and it's hard to communicate with them too.

Fr, sometimes I fear be like them
I don't think so honestly... If I'd be an artist, I'd be this type of one that doesn't share their works.

Ohh, that's such a niche way of see the art
my works wouldn't reach and move many people because I could only write things based on my own feelings and experienced

Hmm, maybe just people like you, I'm sure those exist somewhere
It's fine... You seem to be rather an extravert type of person, is that the truth?

HAHHAHA Noppp
I’m pretty harsh when it comes to people, I love getting to know others, but not just talking for the sake of talking. I can be quite judgmental, and I tend to distance myself a lot, I really dislike crowds and parties

I don't really understand, you meant what would I choose not to talk about, time or energy?

OHh, let me explain
earlier you said you didn’t have the time or energy to tell me about your friend, so I ask u which one affected you more

What do you think about it?

well, the green aliens are just a joke 👅👅What kind of alien life form do you lean toward believing in the most? Do you think there’s an intelligent species? Would it be good or bad?
I’m more drawn to the idea of a completely dead space, depressingly empty, and the horror of us being truly alone

I try not to become attached to people that fast because of that reason

andd it's working?
my habit is that as long as you reply, I will reply too, no matter how long it takes. There are rare exceptions though.

Ohh that's enough then
what are those exceptions?

I experienced people became attached to be unnaturally fast too and unnaturally intensively

Well, those are hard things to measure. How can you tell if that kind of intensity comes from confidence, or just because someone is given the space to speak? It’s easy for all of us to talk about what we like, but things get complicated when the connection starts asking for something more
But I also assume no one else read these comments haha

that's really rare indeed
but as I said feel free to answer only the question you’re comfortable with

Because I don't plan to meet anyone... But for me, it doesn't make the friendship weaker or worse

I'm glad for u then
Why the app didn't suit you, though?

Cuzzz I don’t think it was what I was looking for. Most of the letters I read felt so generic that I didn’t feel like replying, I just didn’t have anything interesting to say about them.
And writing a letter myself didn’t appeal to me either. I felt like there wasn’t anything I could write that would attract the kind of people I’m actually interested in

I could explain the relation to you, but it'd really take lots of time and text... Or maybe not that much

do it whenever you feel like it then arisu
I’m more than willing to read it

But I'm fine with only several people that got to learn what I'm really like

I think is the best way to do it
what are you like among both of these types you mentioned? Do you accept people leaving at all?

I can accept it as long as I feel like I don’t matter to the other person, it’s fine if you leave, you’re not obligated to stay if you don’t want to
But the moment you say that I matter to you or that you care about me, that’s when it bothers me if you leave, because it feels like you lied

Yes, it was actually an advanced relation, didn't think I have any more advanced one in real life.

how it was?
I dare you. (about medical)

Another time then
now you’ll have to write a lot to tell me about your old friend

Not rather, I surely am such person.

It isn't something good though
[quote]my willingness do renew the relation becomes weaker/quote]
yesss, sadly It's normal and not your fault
Because literally all people I ever met were everything but minimalists

I didn’t know minimalists were an endangered species
I wanted to ask, do you like animals?

sure, not in a pet way though
what's your favorite animal?

I actually played chess with my brother several times because he likes it. And it didn't make it better

Do you get along well with your brother? It’s a shame he couldn’t get you to like chess.
I don't know if it's normal but I actually don't even remember most of my childhood and early teenage ages

Nooo, whyy?
Do you remember it? Anyway, by talking with me you'll learn more about me, I guess.

yep yep, I remember every moment that shaped me into who I am
even things that happened when I was three years old
I guess i'll learn more about u indeed

even in countries without snow there are ice rinks and ice skaters

They built a few here, but people only went a couple of times and got bored, so they shut them down 🥀🥀
Did it snow in Argentina or you were somewhere else?

Yess, in argentina
Personally, I love the snow so much, I could live in a place with eternal winter and I really mean it.

Mjum Mjum the snow is sooo cool
how my teachers and classmates were like and how I myself was like

waos, sounds hard, how was that?
The case is that my knees usually hurt no matter what I do

yep, your knees are in your problem list too
Have you ever wanted to learn how to swim? I think it's a skill everyone should have, because it can save your life.

When you live in a desert like I do, swimming doesn’t really feel that necessary, so I’m not interested in learning
Really, you like BL? It's kind of unexpected but it's nice! I'm really advanced bl watcher and reader

I guess it’s only surprising because it’s not on my profile orrrrr maybe I just give off the vibe of someone who wouldn’t like it, idk

Out of the ones you mentioned, the ones that caught my attention the most were:
Fuyu no Semi,no. 6,Umibe no Etranger andd Beryl and Sapphire
If I already knew Sleeping Dead, it really stood out to me, why is your precious?

if you have a Spotify account, you can visit mine which I linked on my mal profile. I am not that active there but I think it shows a lot about my taste in music.

And it really shows, I don’t recognize any of the artists in your recently played. very unique
Your playlists are incredible too,I didn’t even know Spotify allowed that much customization. They have a lot of personality. The ones that caught my attention the most are:
being a meaningless planetoid: literally you
my lesbian dream: why?
thinking, sinking, longing: nothing to say, I just liked it
I think I’ll check out the songs, but I’d still like you to recommend one that really comes from you

diverse and inspirational. The only sad thins is that most of my favourite artists are dead but still there are so many pieces...

That love for classical music is really beautiful
By the way did you know 'Oczy' means eyes in Polish? But now, I don't know anyone named like that here

Ohh that's new info to me, maybe you should search more to know someone named oczy
And the whole situation with her and her father, something amazing, but also tragic.

YESSS 🤧🤧
instead of adding some wow or unnecessary moments like it is in many other titles

You’re right
I’d rather have a simple but faithful adaptation than a bad one

That's fully to my taste.

The best anime to arisu?
I actually never went camping, so I can't say if I'm a fan of it or not

would you like to do it?
But why you actually like Stanley? Oh and of course I love Kinro and Ginro too.

I have no idea why I like it, I already forgot HAHAHAH
But I do remember really liking it when I read the manga 🙏 kinro and ginro the best duo

So it's easy to get to know the title. Anyway, I reccomend the book a lot.

roger roger, I'll try to remenber anne
I generally dislike when someone ask me for recommendations but without specifying it and also as a first thing after meeting...

I like recommending things I think other people will enjoy, but when it comes to me, I prefer people to recommend whatever they want. There’s a phrase a singer from my country once said “When someone recommends you a song, they’re making an act of pure love, because they want you to feel what they felt when they heard it for the first time” And I think that’s a way of thinking I really like
Oh, so your favourite color is blue, the color of nobles

Nowayyy, I think I’m as far from a noble as it gets
so who does the color blue belong to, then?

as for green I prefer all darker shadows of it, my fav colour would be black and gray, I think.

why? very emo vibes 👅👅
I came across a manga with yellow font on white background, so...

HAHAHHA really? what a madness
KyushuYokai Mar 24, 5:37 PM
Im the same it keeps me away from them rather then watching i like just normal titles that dont feel like a description
KyushuYokai Mar 24, 11:08 AM
I agree completely isekai can be fun when its not following the sword art formula like so many of them are i mostly like the villainess ones im not to big on all of those "That time i became a master swordsmen who is loved by waifu and waifu and waifu"
Patricia_kichi Mar 24, 7:25 AM
Well, that’s some high praise, but I’m glad that’s the conclusion you’ve come to.

I enjoy reading fiction, especially romance. For academic and career purposes, though, I have to read other kinds of material as well. I do pick up books out of curiosity, but I haven’t really found another genre I truly enjoy yet. I think I’m a more aware anime viewer now, so I put more thought into what I choose to watch. That said, most of what I’ve seen came from a more random phase, but it helped me figure out what works for me, so it wasn’t all wasted time.

I’ve seen all those anime, though I haven’t read any of the manga on your favorites. To be honest, I was never deeply invested in most of them. I watched Ergo Proxy because it was from Manglobe, I had enjoyed Gangsta. and Samurai Champloo beforehand so I wasn’t expecting it to be… well, something I didn’t really understand. I watched Orb a few months ago and realized I’d probably make a great NPC in its world, I’m pretty clueless when it comes to theology, and I didn’t even know what heliocentrism or geocentrism meant. It was definitely an intellectually challenging watch. I do think all of those anime are great, just a bit too heavy for my “lavender mind.” That said, to not completely disappoint you, I used to be a Kira worshipper, which basically means I was a huge Death Note fan. I’ve moved past that phase now, but it’s still one of my favorite anime.

I’ve started rewatching it, and it feels completely different from what I remember, almost like I’m watching a new show. I guess that’s expected since I’m not the same person I was back then. One interesting change this time is that I can relate to Satou. I’d still consider myself a better person, but I can deeply understand his anxiety. After the pandemic, I became very socially anxious. I prefer staying at home, and since I have epilepsy, I don’t go out very often anyway. During COVID-19, I got too comfortable being indoors, and now I struggle to go out and stay composed. I’ll see how I feel about reading it once I finish the show.

I wouldn’t say I dislike Japanese. I actually studied it for a while and can speak it to some extent. My listening skills aren’t great, though, which makes comprehension harder. I mean, it’s a difficult language overall. I can also read Hiragana and Katakana, but Kanji is where I give up on my learning. I grew up watching dubs, so I don’t mind them, but lately I’ve been watching more subs. I don’t always agree with popular opinions favoring English dubs for certain shows, for example, Cowboy Bebop. Some say the dub is superior, which I don’t agree with. The performances are solid, and the English version does sound more natural given the setting, but that doesn’t make it the definitive version. Both offer different experiences. While I understand why someone might prefer dubs, I believe the original version is how it was meant to be experienced. In the end, it comes down to personal preference, though I generally think subs tend to deliver a more authentic performance, still subjective, of course.

The manga is much rawer compared to its anime adaptations. The Gonzo version of Hellsing tried to reshape it into a more serious storyline, whereas the original manga is more of an acid trip. Hellsing Ultimate feels like it balances both approaches and delivers a more consistent version of the story. Even so, I still prefer the stylish Gonzo version, even if it’s admittedly a bit of a mess.

No, no, no. I have read those works, but like I said, I probably lack the reading comprehension to fully grasp most of them. Even so, I was genuinely moved by much of it, though it’s hard for me to call most of them “good” or “complete” reads.

I studied graphic design, but I’d say I’m fairly average at it. Digital art isn’t really my thing right now. I’m trying to pursue architecture, but I need to improve my understanding of proportion and perspective, there’s a lot to learn. I am good at sketching, though, and I’m knowledgeable on graphic design software, so I’m trying to combine those skills into something I can turn into a career.

I’ve never actually watched Scooby-Doo or Total Drama Island, but I do like We Bare Bears. I’m not a fan of those others shows, and I haven’t seen The Owl House or She-Ra yet.
Hatsu_haru Mar 24, 1:32 AM
Wasn't expecting rengoku to die so early (╥﹏╥). Currently on the entertainment district arc n tengen seems to be funny. The animation's really good tho especially during the akaza fighting scenes. The first season didn't interest me much but the current ones r really good tbh didn't expect to enjoy it so much so am pleasently surprised.
KyushuYokai Mar 23, 2:13 PM
Yeah i usually prefer a adult cast and i like ecchi so i dont mind but yeah and same i dont hate isekai its just alot of the same it a new one comes out every season it feels like and it isnt very different from the others
Patricia_kichi Mar 23, 1:33 PM
I’m sorry, I can be a bit slow to grasp things sometimes. I understand what you mean, though, and it’s actually nice that you can mostly choose the kind of media you want to consume, even if there are exceptions like you mentioned.

I’ve got a lot of updates to make, so I’m not really focusing on my list right now, just adding recent stuff here and there.

I wouldn’t say that I'm much fond of NHK, but I did think it was good. I moved on from it pretty quickly, though I can understand why it sticks with some people. If I were to watch it at this point in my life, which is actually quite likely, I think I’d actually relate to Satou and genuinely appreciate Misaki’s character. But back then, I didn’t really care much about a hikikomori. I mainly watched it because it was from Gonzo, and I liked some of their other works like Hellsing, Romeo × Juliet, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Gantz, so I decided to give it a shot. I also had a lot of free time, which is probably why I didn’t drop it, because I could afford to watch things I wasn’t fully enjoying. That said, NHK was definitely a unique experience. It made me realize there are people like Satou out there, and even if I had encountered similar individuals before, watching his story helped me understand their struggles to some extent. Another reason why I picked it up was the dub, it was pretty good, and I remember some genuinely funny moments, especially since the show itself can get pretty unhinged. Also, thanks for sharing your experience with NHK. It’s honestly really nice of you to go into that much detail about something I’m still fairly ignorant about. I’ll definitely rewatch the anime sometime soon, and maybe read the novel later on.

As for Hellsing, maybe try watching Hellsing: Ultimate, it's the second adaptation of the manga, more faithful to the source and widely considered the best version of the story, though I didn't like it much, it's too edgy for my liking, the Gonzo version was more stylish and they pretty much rewrite it, which partly worked, partly didn't.

I picked it up because I wanted to broaden my horizons, so I tried even nihilistic works to get a taste of some other philosophy too. I’ll admit, though, that I probably lack the reading comprehension for some of that material. I did like Run, Melos! though. I also have The Setting Sun, but I don’t think I’ll get to it anytime soon. The only book on philosophy I’ve properly read is Language and Problems of Knowledge by Noam Chomsky, which I found to be a great book on the philosophy of language.

And no, I got that from Pinterest. I’m not good at digital art.

Yeah, I like PAW Patrol, The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Winx Club, Slugterra, Sym-Bionic Titan, there are a lot more, honestly.
KyushuYokai Mar 23, 11:15 AM
Yeah same here i usually avoid isekai as much as i can yeah april seems to be loaded this year and no i havent watched it yet but as you said the femc seems pretty cool i like her design and im glad you found something that you really liked
It’s time to ditch the text file.
