'Kore Kaite Shine' Unveils Additional Cast, Second Teaser Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Minoru Toyoda's Kore Kaite Shine (Draw This, Then Die!) manga unveiled four additional cast members, a new visual for "Lost World" (pictured), and second teaser promotional video on Tuesday. The anime series is scheduled to premiere on Nippon TV network's FuraAni programming block and 30 stations nationwide at 11:30 p.m. in July 2026.

Pokota: Noriko Hidaka (Ranma ½ (2024))
Nana Teramura: Atsumi Tanezaki (Sousou no Frieren)
Hana Kongouji: Yukana (Code Geass)
Hebichika: Kikuko Inoue (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari)

Hiroaki Akagi (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu) is directing the anime at Shin-Ei Animation, with Hiroko Fukuda (Amanchu! Advance) handling the series composition. Hiroko Fukuda, Aki Itami (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2), and Kanichi Katou (Tsugumomo) are in charge of the script. Kenji Segawa (UniteUp!) is designing the characters, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Orange) is composing the music.

Toyoda began serializing the comedy drama manga in Gessan magazine in November 2021. Shogakukan published the eighth volume in October 2025.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English on October 22 last year and will release the first volume on August 11.

They nailed the character design here. Looks very charming and seems to have manga aesthetics from the original manga. Still think this may be a sleeper hit when people cotton on that it shares a few similarities with Keep your hands off Eizouken.
