Let me state something first. I'm reviewing this series not as a regular ecchi manga, but as a hentai. Because yes, this one clearly trespasses the boundary, and despite being censored, a lot of things are clearly showed.

The plot revolves around Daisuke, a man who is transported into another world (yay another isekai...), where he is finally able to accomplish his most desired dream. To be the monster girl harem king. Yes, you read this right, he goes around the world banging with all sorts of monster girls. He's also a biologist, so he takes the ... opportunity to analise them and try to figure out how it is scientifically possible that these creatures exist and how their body works. And I have to say that some explanations, though not being perfect, are well thought for the most part. In these first 2 volumes we are presented mainly to the arachne girls and harpies, learning the origin of arachnes (they're totally mammal, from a triplets conjoining) or how harpies can fly in this body. All of this decorated with surviving information (similar to Dr. Stone, saving the distances) and some political affairs.

The problem is that the writing is far from outstanding. Sometimes the information is not given in the appropriate way, and the character's behavior is "strange". This is one of the reasons of why I think of this manga more as a hentai, because all the girls throw themselves at the protagonist without second thoughts.

This fact brings us to the key part: the sex scenes. There are a LOT of them, without showing the penetration, but with the monster girl's naked body in all their glory. And it's important to have something in mind before reading this hentai. Remember when I said that the arachne's origin are conjoining triplets? Well, this this fact doesn't apply only to the number of legs. They have a two extra pair of breasts and double vagina. Daisuke will lay with a great amount of them (I think 5 of them), so you really have to be into this. On the other part, the harpy has a loli appearance despite being adult. Having said all this, these scenes are very fulfilling and drawn in all detail, with a good balance of what to show and what not.

Last but not least, the art is a little irregular. On the "plot" parts it really shines, but when there's action and battles the quality is clearly lower.

In conclusion, as a monster girl hentai I think it truly delivers, if we consider the story parts as an extra, to give more insight of the world. But if you are only interested in the story you'll be disappointed.

Wow. What a weird mixed bag. Starts out with a frequently creepy protagonist caught between sexual narcissism, scientific amoralism, cringey nerdism, and bouts of common decency. Extends into an intriguing setting which more than supports itself without smut. Diverts into plausible xenobiology and 'How It Works' pages that actually apply to the real world. Then it jumps directly down the unpleasant rabbit hole of "Jesus F. Christ, when did Ayn Rand start writing H-manga???"

This is a really good milieu story with one or two genuinely unexpected twists. Now, I'm not *complaining* about the sexual content, but to me it ... just felt like a somewhat resentful outlet for a sexually frustrated author. But the shoehorning of objectivist pseudo-truth principles into smug anti-feminism starting around volume four... dude, no. I'm not 'woke' in the common sense, but premises like "egalitarianism is a fundamental lie because reasons, and happily accepting the choice between rape or murder is the only true feminism" are borderline criminal schizophrenic, crafting contrived situations to justify barbarism as enlightenment.

Basically? It's surprisingly good, and I'm *this* effing close to dropping it in disgust.

Was doing fine enough until the mangaka revealed their hand on how much they hate feminism.

From the top, man gets isekai'd into a world of primitive monster people and decides to build stuff for them without making 4 certain technologies that are commonplace in modern day because the mangaka wanted a writing challenge(literally says this in volume extras). That is half of the manga. The other half is pure hentai, way past ecchi. Lots of boob and lots of loli in every chapter. The manga is at it's best when it is a pure hentai that is describing how these creatures biologically exist rather than ... its few underwhelming fights.

Speaking of descriptions, the mangaka has an extremely verbose manner of explaining every single detail of how every bit of biology and technology works in this magicless world. There are extreme walls of texts to rationalize every single wooden contraption made. It is truly exhaustive and undecipherable without lots of patience or multiple degrees so who can say if any of it is actually scientifically valid.

Then there comes the sexism centaur. Oh boy, the sexism centaur. She who also speaks in an extremely verbose manner, but this time about how "females aren't oppressed because they can just manipulate men with love". Of course in a wall-of-text format with a bunch of explanations about how centaur society evolved to counter human socieity's gender equality. Human society is generally shown to be bad in this manga as humans who think women and children shouldn't be annihilated, are revenge should be sought against monster rapists are debunked with the mangaka's signature verbosity.

And it isn't just the characters. It gets unbearably awful when the author starts taking volume extras to preach directly to the readers about how women just have to submit to men then they will be free. Really paints the MC's whole "gonna be the monster girl harem king" thing in a different light.

Can't just have a manga about building a harem of monster girls by introducing technology, could we?
