Are you a Python beginner? Or have you completed our Python Basics courses? In that case, congratulations – but you still have some way to go before you become a Python expert. In Python as in life, practice makes perfect.

If you’re looking to practice your Python skills, you've come to the right place. Our Python Practice set will help you hone your knowledge.

One of the biggest obstacles to making progress in Python is finding the right tasks and projects. Once you've learned the basics, you’re still not in a position to solve advanced problems (yet). But easy problems don’t help you move forward. What to do? Try our interactive Python Basics: Practice course!

Python Basics: Practice

This is a great set of interactive exercises. If you are not familiar with the idea, it means that all instruction, coding, and feedback is done through your Internet browser. You don't need to install or configure anything, and you can start programming right away. This course is perfect if you want to test what you've learned or see what you need to work on. It can also be a great refresher before interviewing for a Python developer or data scientist job.

In this course, all the exercises are logically organized. You start with a little warm-up, then take on increasingly difficult challenges as you go. We believe that learning through practice is the best way to succeed. That's why we created the Python Practice Set.

What will you practice in this course?

  • Create simple Python applications that accept input from users and display text and numbers.
  • Use and convert variables in Python.
  • Structure program flow using conditional and nested if statements, comparison operators, and multiple conditions (using the and, or, and not keywords).
  • Write loops
  • Create functions with and without parameters
  • Define returns values and use default argument values.
  • Work with lists, dictionaries, sets, and tuples.
  • Operate on text files.
Python Basics: Practice

The course exercises are well written, varied, and straightforward – we don’t do trick questions! You can always count on getting helpful tips and syntax reminders. And, if you get really stuck, you can reach out to our experts for help. This will power up your Python skills to the next level in no time!

It pays to practice Python. It is currently the fastest-developing programming language and the most frequently sought by employers. You could say that learning Python is not simply gaining a new skill; it’s also a chance for a better job or career. Don't wait any longer. Start practicing Python and start on the path to becoming an expert.
