Howdy! I'm Shanick, a software engineer and cybersecurity professional with 7+ years of experience in software engineering and 4+ years specializing in cybersecurity. I've led projects from kickoff to post-mortem, secured critical infrastructure across banking and space domains _ including satellite systems _ architected and implemented IAM solutions, conducted penetration tests and red team exercises, and delivered defensive security training to employees.
Beyond my professional work, I collaborate with the University of Buenos Aires as a mentor for specialized classes and conduct technical interviews for Lemon.io.
I was also the founder of a startup recognized by UNESCO and the Chamber of Deputies, and received an award alongside a colleague from Spain's National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE).
I'm a strong believer in Extreme Ownership, and I strive to lead with empathy, collaboration, and a team-first mindset.
