ManualMaker

Note: This project is no longer actively maintained. It has been archived in favor of other solutions for publishing the Manual electronically.

Description

Make WordPress into your online manual

ManualMaker was built for the Church of the Nazarene, but it's not just for churches, and it's not just for manuals.

Whether you use ManualMaker to write a simple chapter book, a doctoral thesis, or to manage a complex reference document like the Manual of the Church of the Nazarene—complete with section headings, numbered paragraphs and subparagraphs, indexes, or even more features—ManualMaker may be able to help make making it happen much . . . much easier.

Make ManualMaker your own

If ManualMaker can't make it happen out of the box, then let's think outside it. ManualMaker is made to be extended so you can make sure that it can make whatever it is that you want to make with it.

Extension Projects

ManualMaker already utilizes several extension projects itself:

Installation

  1. Upload ManualMaker's files to your /wp-content/plugins/manualmaker/ directory.
  2. Activate ManualMaker through the 'Plugins' screen in WordPress.

Contributing

Contribute as you're able

  • You can support the Church of the Nazarene Information Technology team and the Office of the General Secretary by giving online. When the Church can fulfill its mission, we fulfill ours.

  • If you can write clearly, then we can always use your help with the documentation and guides.

  • If you can code, then you're welcome to help us maintain, extend, and translate ManualMaker software. Check out our current projects, create an issue to request a feature or report a bug, or make a pull request.
