I’m Isuru Alagiyawanna, currently the Head of AI Engineering at Veracity Group, where I lead multiple teams across NLP, Computer Vision, and Data Analytics to build AI products that actually ship and scale.

Over the past years I’ve:
- Built LLM and agentic AI–powered systems for real-world use cases (RAG, workflow automation, voice agents, decision support tools).
- Led end-to-end AI projects from data → models → MLOps → deployment, especially in telecom, finance, and operations.
- Taught and spoken at meetups, bootcamps, and conferences on Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic Workflows – including talks on how to take models from notebooks to production.
- Been awarded an AWS Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree Scholarship (Udacity).
