I'd welcome pull requests if it seems to work decent enough to be used to use the basic app functionality, so that other users can benefit from your work too.

However, I still don't have any device running Android TV and thus can't be really helpful in continuing this nor providing support about it.

I'm willing to test this on my AndroidTV box. A build for testing would be appreciated.

Hello to anyone reading this, whether a LibreTube worker or developer. I would just like to know if it's possible to fix a LibreTube issue in an update.

The problem is this: the app is fine, but many users have noticed that downloading a video in LibreTube increases the GBs in their phone's storage. This is a problem for phones that are nearly full or for users who simply don't like the app taking up so much space.

My point is, could an update be made so that downloading a video doesn't increase the GBs? For example, on my phone, LibreTube is currently at 1.06 GB, and when I download a video, the app's size changes to 1.07 GB.

Here are some ideas on how this could be addressed:

• Automatic compression: Add an option to automatically compress videos upon download, significantly reducing their size.
• Intelligent download management: Implement a feature that automatically deletes older downloads to free up space.
• Cloud integration: Offer the option to save downloaded videos directly to a cloud storage service like MEGA or Google Drive, avoiding internal storage usage.
