I'm a part Data Scientist, Data Engineer at Cogstate where I create analytical processes and reports in R and build data processing pipelines in Python with {pyspark} on Databricks.
I develop R packages outside of work, like {cnd} for creating and managing detailed condition objects, and {scribe} to handle argument parsing when using Rscript.
I drink a lot of ☕ , enjoy a good negroni, and will show you pictures of my dog.
I've been working in the clinical trial industry for about a decade, mostly in Alzheimer's Disease and other CNS, psychiatry indications 🧠. My education was is in Psychology, where I got to write down numbers, encourage rats 🐀 to press buttons in boxes, and encourage people to press buttons on computers 💻.
