Log Wall
A log wall is a building block made from Peeled Logs allowing the construction of buildings using interlocked logs without a saw and advanced carpentry.
Combine 2 seasoned Peeled Logs and an Adze in your crafting grid to create a Log Wall block.

Log Walls can also be crafted from seasoned logs and split logs that haven't been peeled. In this case the process of peeling is done automatically so Adze takes some additional damage and no bark is retrieved. Also, keep in mind that the seasoning of logs is faster if they are peeled in advance.
Log Walls can be crafted from any type of wood except Palm, Bamboo and Joshua.
Right click a surface while holding a Log Wall block to place it down. Depending on which side the surface is, the corresponding type of log wall gets placed.
Placing a log wall block on top of another creates a log wall corner. Then attaching a log wall block to either side of the corner block creates a horizontal log wall, either going East to West or North to South.
Notice the horizontal wall block going North to South has logs shifted 1/4 of the block vertically. This is so that the logs visually interlock in the corners. It also means that the top and bottom log is cut in half, creating a visually flat surface, when used as floor or ceiling blocks. In contrast, log wall blocks going East to West create a visually round surface when used as floor or ceiling blocks.

There are three alternative log wall building blocks, better suitable for building structures other than log cabins walls. Hold the shift key (sneak) while placing the log wall block to place the alternative block.
When placing a log wall on top of another block while sneaking, a log wall corner block is placed without the ends of logs showing. This can be useful if you want to attach corners logs sticking out manually and Carving them with an Adze.

When attaching a log wall block to the side of another block while sneaking, a wall going East to West now has logs shifted 1/4 of the block vertically, and log wall going North to South does not. This can be useful when building floors and ceilings and you want the logs going perpendicularly.

- Placed Log Wall blocks can be Carved with an Adze.
- A Log Wall block can drop up to 2 Peeled Logs when Carved.
- Log Walls from Bamboo, Palm and Yoshua tree will be available without peeling and seasoning.
